Dynamic Queue itself isn't terrible, it's a perfect way for friends to queue together and enjoy themselves.
...It's the lack of alternatives for those who want to play solo (and there are a variety of reasons for that). Players can't hate something for not being there, so they decide to hate the only option they can: Dynamic Queue
Side Note: Dynamic Queue has no place in ranked, it's just another reason to add solo queue back

Is it just me or are people confusing dynamic queue with the new champ select? That's not the same, dynamic queue is the ability to play ranked "solo" queue with friends, while champ select is well the new champ select, so comparing team builder to dynamic queue is like apples and oranges.
From my limited experience of Ranked this season, if feels more like normals with "consequences" than proper ranked. It either doesn't feel like it is worth the investment of time, or people are just playing like it is normals.
Can someone please explain how Dynamic queue has ruined Ranked play? I am currently low Plat and I have yet to have a single game ruined by an enemy premade. Sometimes I may see two, or in rare cases three, people with the same club tag and assume it's a premade but those games are rarely unwinnable stomps by the enemy team, nor has my experienced been negatively impacted by those rare cases. I only ever play Ranked by myself and the vast majority of the players I am grouped with and face are similarly "solo queue".
I understand from watching streamers that this is not the case at high elo, and this certainly makes sense. But then why are the vocal minority crying about it on the boards? I'm willing to bet that most people posting in these threads are not super high elo players, and given my own personal experiences I am sensing a very large disconnect between the expectation and the reality. Is this some rampant problem in bronze - gold? Am I missing something?

Yolo/Duo was fine. Teambuilder was fine.
Now both gone, not one argument Rito provides to this justifies their removals.
I so want TB back. I didn't care that I had to wait 20 mins to play Mid. At least I always got the role and champ I wanted to play.
Considering they're removing support for online tournaments and only funding live ones. Riot has an issue with trying to force everyone to be social.
Had a game of Dynamic where they game went 29-2 and then the next one went like 40-12

I know someone that made it to challenger solo. So your statement is false.
Playing against people getting boosted or having premade trolls in my team is always great.
Dynamic Queue is nice, except for the part where you're against or with premades every game

Dynamic queue and teambuilder are unrelated. Dynamic queue is queing up with 1-5 people. You are thinking of new champ select.

People complain about dynamic q and then say team builder was better?! Team builder matchmaking in my experience was the worst of any game mode ever. And if you can't stand to play ranked without friends.....then don't lol. It's not that complicated.
People on the boards are always salty about something. And no matter what riot does that will happen. I guarantee if we had only solo q people would be on the boards moaning about it.
