75% of my losses has been within 2 minutes of the enemy team getting baron.

It's so mind blowing that it can turn an even game into an absolute stomp just because 1-2 team members dies past 20 minutes, or even just the jungler showing up botlane to catch a wave. You can't waveclear or try to fight them 5v5 because baron gives more than 8k worth of stats to the entire team. I am sick of every game that goes past 20 minutes is "stay around baron area or else, botlane is completely off limits unless you have tp, but that doesn't even work as baron dies faster than tp channels."

Baron is meant to be a game-changer, no question. It’s an epic monster that requires a vast majority of the team to take down early and at least 2 fully-geared players late-late game to take down. Same can be said with Elder Dragon, and how it amplifies all of the prior dragon buffs your team obtained throughout the game.

LOL All you need is some tank to damage soak and an adc with 2 crit items and you can kill baron so fast.

Ive actually watched a Yi solo baron, and a Trynd solo baron. Kinda stupid, tbh. They should not be able to solo baron at any stage in the game.

Even though both times I got a free win for it, it was still pretty dumb.

I solo'd baron as Yi yesterday, to be fair though, the game was a streamroll and I had a stupid amount of money, also a build that is practically optimal to the point it feels designed for baron killing. I was quite surprised at how fast it dropped with my ult though.

I think very few can solo it, and when they can the game was already over. That said 1 tank+ADC soloing it is definitely a problem, the baron is designed to counter someone trying to solo it, and does to an extent. 2 man with crazy damage ADC will annihilate it though.

Definitely does not require two fully geared people. Just takes jungler and a tank with 2 MAYBE 3 items.

The problem isn't the power, it's that it dies too fast so it's not as hard of an objective as it should be. Riot is attempting to address this problem.

In my opinion baron should be raid boss level difficulty that requires near perfect coordination to take down, not "tank just facetanks it and losing only 100 hp while just 1 adc melts it."

That's a whole different problem we like to call the ADC crit problem, but everyone's a bit tired of discussing it, and Riot is also attempting to deal with that one, we'll see how that turns out though...
