But seriously, something needs to be done about the particles on this skin. It's difficult to tell them apart and the particles are difficult to see in general.

both are relatively fast skillshots. with very little cast time unlike ezreal ult and similar cast ainmation as well. you aren't gonna look at it. you will just flash when you see something is coming at you or you die.
TehNACHO2 votesHonestly her Ult is closer to the Morgana end of the spectrum than the Mundo side of the spectrum when it comes to skill shots. Especially if you see it coming, it's kinda relatively slow for a skillshot.
DeathBot6661 votesI would have gone more like a nidaldee spear. Moves somewhat slow, possible but not easy to dodge if aimed right. and kills squishies if it hits you and she is close enough to follow up.

Her E drone doesn't even remotely resemble her ult projectile. It's even a different color - it's black and has twin helicopter rotors, what more do you want?
They're both fast projectiles but going up against the skin for the first time I never felt the need to try and dodge her drones. Her ult does look vastly different though, so I can see people sometimes needing a second to register the new particles. But honestly, we change particles and such all the time and people don't claim a skin is "Pay 2 Win" just because some projectiles look different. If every skin had to have identical particles to prevent confusion then we'd never have cool skins for anyone.
But seriously, if you flash or burn an escape on her E drone, you just aren't paying attention. If you have this problem ever again after the first time you've seen both particles then the skin isn't the problem.

First time I played vs this skin, I flashed from hawkshot at 55 minutes as adc and we lost because of it. Please change the color so that it doesnt look 90% the same, at least for me...

Like one is a giant freaking arrow and the other is a tiny drone, In fact I just played a game of ascension and Ashe kept throwing her e out at us while we would be taking points but we all just ignored it because its a slow moving drone and all.

redfeenix2 votesThe problem for me is the color. I'm so used to ash ult being HUGE and bright white, seeing this blue tiny thing approaching doesn't register as an ash ult.
It looks like a harmless projectile, when it should be looking like the iconic ultimate we know and love since season one. It just looks too different from what I expect ash ultimates to be, so I don't dodge.
I wish PFE could get this particle for his ultimate. It would suit him much better than it suits project ash.

Pale Pirate1 votesAre you sure? Snow annie used to be the secret p2w skin of league of legends. If you remember before the VU rework, when her passive was ready it appeared as white mist around her, and because that skin was white, it was really hard to notice that the stun is ready.
Sohleks1 votesI think I have seen doublelift do that on regular Ashe skins. Hawkshot in a fight like it was the arrow. TBH the drone is probably less like the arrow than the base ashe E, it's just people are not used to this new skin (I agree though the project ult arrow is too different and more mute colored )

Splitgrips1 votesits not just the particles.. if you are like me .. i play with sound as a key thing to react.. and the tones are really similar. just listen to the 2 for a bit.. yeah.. slight differences but both sound really aggressive. maybe if they made hawkshot more electric motor and not booing ish.. i guess.
