More support maltreatment - Everything's your fault and everything you do is trolling.

So I went Xerath support. Why? Between Mundo, Vayne, Skarner and Vlad, everyone was going to end up in melee range, and we had almost no range to call our own... against an entire team focused around being anti-engage and anti-escape. I picked Xerath partly for his range and partly for that one stun he has, along with the fact that I am trying to get to Mastery 5 with everyone and I can't be arsed to deal with 400 minute queue times or Yasuo mains who will sabotage entire games if they can't go Yasuo mid for the quintillionth time. Suck it the fuck up; if you don't like it, then YOU be the support.

First stage of the game goes fine. I poke the enemy down to a sliver of their health, patient and content enough to force them out of the lane or kill them if they are too stupid not to. We shove them back to their turret. Then our Vayne flashes under the turret to kill Jinx and botches the fucking job. I don't help because I'm basically out of mana by this point. Vayne failing to kill Jinx at less than 100 health causes her to trigger herself and spends the rest of the game trying to re-engage Jinx while talking about how triggered they are. The team then says that I'M intentionally feeding and trolling for not having a sightstone, despite the fact that I'M not the one that's dying repeatedly and the game basically just started!

Vayne's continued antics gets Jinx fed VERY quickly until they are able to steamroll the entire lane, me included. The team continues to scream at me for letting it happen, accuses me of getting caught even when I'm in the backline and the entire enemy team flash ults under and behind a turret to get the kill, accuses me STILL of not having a sightstone (No one knows that the support items now combine with the sightstone, and Riot, I still insist that anyone who doesn't make that observation should have 4000 gold stripped from them immediately). Then I'm told to go defend top (which was already taken by the time that command was given, at which point they blamed me for it), yelled at me for letting Mundo die to Annie (he was low and should have run), yelled at me again for "stealing the kill" (no one else around to claim it, and Mundo was almost a minute past dead by this point), yelled at me for "being useless" (bombarding the entire enemy team from a safe distance and having the lowest death count and highest damage output and kill participation not good enough for you?!), yelled at me for not pushing lanes or defending them (at this point I'm the ONLY one doing that!), THEN yelled at me for doing exactly that, which caused the enemy team to home in on me (the rest of the team was elsewhere, teamfighting the jungle camps) and burn all their ults and summoner spells on me, and THEN they yelled at me again for getting caught.

And then people wonder why no one wants to be the support.

im annoyed that people pretend there is special types of toxicity "support maltreatment" your team is sometimes toxic, it happens.

My support in one of my recent games was a complete potato, hiding behind me and letting me get harrassed and zoned the whole time. The lane goes poorly and they do nothing but bitch at me. I don't pretend there is some "adc maltreatment" sometimes your team is just toxic/annoying.

Vayne is not a 'Lane Champion', her Strengths lie in Mid to Late Game. She REQUIRES Items to be effective.

So why the hell is a Vayne trying to go off in the Early Game instead of Free-Farm with the Enemy pushed out of Lane and under Turret?

I told her half of that myself, but most ADCs and especially Vaynes will trip over themselves to kill an enemy and get an early lead. More often than not I see that plan crash and burn.

I have been through this as well. We win lane, but the other lanes and jungle feed. So they blame us for the loss, for not buying what they expected, or for having deaths to fed assassins.

As you said, "suck it the fuck up." This isn't worth a thread.

Also xerath is a shitty sup outside of maybe a premade with a plan.

I think everyone has had this happen, regardless of lane or position. Someone feeds two or three kills, then gets mad at every one else. Probably best just to move on to the next game.

And in the meantime, just be like http://www.figata.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/bithc.gif

I agree with this.

The problem is people do that en masse, focusing on the next game rather than the current one the instant things go south, and so on and so forth. No one was pushing or defending lanes and focused more on jungle camps than grouping up to engage the enemy or luring them to one half of the map while the rest claimed an objective elsewhere. Not grouping up can sometimes be wise, splitting up the enemy's forces to either cut off a split push attempt or overdedicating part of the team to stopping one champion from destroying a turret or pushing a lane. If they overdedicate or send their fed assassin to kill the isolated unit, then the group fighting the rest of your team is at a considerable disadvantage, and if they ignore you, then they risk losing an important objective.

The one time I pushed top, they sent three champions after me, two of whom burned ults and summoner spells for the kill. If anyone had any sense of awareness, tactical and otherwise, they would have pushed the opposite side of the map, and not run from our jungle directly into a killzone where Jinx, Leona, Annie, and Azir could safely kite them without recourse because no one on our team had any range or fast gapclosers. The one and only time we DID fight the enemy team as a whole, it ended in more or less a draw despite their lead over us, only because Evelynn was not in the fight for most of it and I was too far back to take any damage from the scrum (but very capable of hitting multiple targets with each spell). And I won the brief exchange with Evelynn afterwards.

But people think in too narrow, basic and binary terms to consider the hundreds, if not thousands of factors that contribute to each scenario, and instead refer to whatever lolking or op.gg says.

For clarity, I don't mean people should just move on if you're in the middle of a game and stop trying. Just once the game ends.

Truly, I'm sorry to hear that people are having games like this where people just rage at them.

Well unfortunately, that's the current climate in the League.

the support is the dominant force in the lane. if you loose lane it is the supports fault 100% of the time.

I'm not even talking about just the laning phase. I mean the ENTIRE GAME. Literally everything seems to hinge on the support doing the work of twelve champions, taking twice that amount of blame while everyone else can fuck off and hump the jungle camps and get all the glory and fame the support manages to scrape up. It also means the support has to answer for their ADC's incompetence, like level 4 Vayne trying to tower dive Jinx at zero health and botching the job.

If that's the case, then supports should get a fuckload more IP, LP and maybe some RP on the side while everyone else gets nothing. And just to make sure this system isn't abused, this only applies to people currently supporting. Once the change is implemented and several weeks before, nonsupports can't be a support EVER.

If only.

thats funny because when i play support and support junglers, I think its the easiest thing in the game. Nooone focuses you and you just go ham if your team can follow up on you.

Here we go again with the support victim complex thing.

Also TLDR.
