Just had a game where our adc was AFK from the start, he never connected to the game, we could remake but my entire team said no ??? (except for me)
We lost clearly yet they didnt want to surrender either, so they dragged this stupid match on until 38 mins for no bloody reason

I'm not debating anything, I'm just giving advice. If you feel like you're a hostage then don't play games like League. If you need to freely come and go then play games with pause buttons or autosave functions or something. League is addicting as hell, but if your lifestyle or personal preferences call for a way to leave, League might not be the ideal game.

How the hell do I contribute to ruining the experience of four other people? I'm not someone who AFKs in games. I don't see how pointing out that not every lifestyle is compatible with playing league is ruining the experience of four other people. I follow the rules of the game because, like the rest of us, I agreed to do that when I signed up and agreed to Riot's terms. I actually cannot wrap my head around how people are getting so offended over what I'm saying. I'm not trolling or even breaking any rules, I'm pointing out a fact.

I always "yes" on remakes.. Even if I don't have time for another game, I'd rather not play a busted 4v5 for 30 min. However, since I mostly play ranked, I habitually click "no" on all surrender dialogs.. and once I accidentally clicked "no" on a remake. Now I try to be more careful.

I get 3 minute+ queues, dodges after champ selects are almost done, then I have to stop the queue and requeue so I dont get a troll I just had, then I'm finally in game and it takes forever to load(which it generally does if someone didnt connect). This doesnt happen frequently, but it does happen.

no i'm still remaking the game, i don't care if the queue was 50 minutes if it's a 4v5 i'm not interested.

Lol my queue times are like 1 minute at most then again I play mid/fill usually getting the second one... But the champ select takes like 3 minutes if they are slow and 2 if they arent. Loading is half a minute to 2 minutes at most. So most time lost is like 6 to 7 minutes but generally its 5 minutes. Albeit gotta wait till remake is possible but that's still affordable to me.

That's not a strawman. A strawman would be "Oh well don't play League if you have things to do!"
You should always make sure you have at least an hour before joining a queue. If that extra 5 minutes is gonna bust your balls, you're probably not following the basic rule I just posted.

Mostly because it's twice as rewarding when you overcome the odds (and very possible!). It's basically a gamble that you'll have a big win and feel really good about yourself. And if you lose? Oh well, it's to be expected, no rage necessary.

You could have remade the game. with NO LP LOSS.... or play an almost guaranteed lost game out forever. This tilted me just reading. Chances are the only reason it went on that long was because the enemy team was deliberately not trying to end because it was just too easy for them

1000g bounties say you have a chance at any point. And just because youre losing, doesnt mean your 7-2 Kaisa(example) isnt having fun.

One mistake by the enemy can lead to a victory even in a 4v5 because death timers are long enough to be punished by multiple towers falling.

That's true, but wether it was winnable or not at minute 30+ is beyond the point. When the game starts no one has any clue about wether they'll be able to 4v5 or not. But the chances are you won't. By saying no to a remake you're either taking the game hostage, or not paying even a minimal ammount of attention to what's happening, or being delusionally optimistic.

I guess you have a point since, more often than not, players that start the game AFK usually come back later on. But I mean, It could be anything and they could also not come back.
