Clarity: Can't Windwall start in front of Yasuo?

No I'm not one of those Anti-Yasuo people, I think he's cool and like the ability, I make this thread hesitantly and for one reason only;

Windwall right now has great functionality as a 'Wall' spell, but also seems to be too much of an 'Invulnerability' spell for him personally. It spawns right on top of him and is erasing stuff that has already passed the logical 'Wall' area of the spell.

For instance I played a Jayce game today, enemy Yasuo consistently erased empowered Q's even though they looked dead-on and were touching his model. He blocked empowered Q's on reaction from fog of war. He seemed like a skilled Yasuo player but a few times I felt really cheated.

I feel like this ability could use some "seperate the good from the great" adjustments in where the wall spawns, and tightening the required reaction time to block spells

Yas in the right hands is devastating, especially one with good timing and I agree on the wall thing, seems to be a bit overly favorable.

worst way ui have seen a yasuo block something is by windwalling in the opposite direction but still managing to block my draven ult :C

well it can't pass through the wall. but if it still hit him then yeah I know what you mean

it didn't hit him because the wall starts slightly behind him

well it acts as a projectile fired from the middle so rito prob won't change
