Nasus needs compensation buffs

By removing base AD from item 3053 's passive, Nasus is getting nerfed. Moreover, none of 8.12 announced items suit him, in fact already superior Illaoi and Darius and are the ones that scale with bonus AD. I don't know why Riot decided to put these 2 and Trundle as undisputed best juggernauts in almost all scenarios, but new changes only confirm that. Furthermore, new scuttle changes emphasize the early game pressure and Nasus is undisputedly the weakest champion in the game at levels 1-7.

Without big gameplay changes to Nasus , or a rework, I suggest a QoL buff.

As a 1 million+ Nasus main, peaking diamond even back in Season 6 (without S7 R buff), I state that Nasus has to split push to be viable. He doesn't have any hard CC, nor dash, not even a MS boost in his kit, so his teamfighting is beyond terrible. That being said, his waveclear is too slow, the likes of Fiora , Jax , Trundle , Yorick , even Shen pushes the waves faster, so it's safe to say that Nasus is actually the slowest split pusher. Therefore, I feel like his Q needs to get %CD refund on successful CS (last hit). It could scale with skill levels (10% per Q level), so his laning phase stays pretty much the same while getting 50% Q CD in mid game while split pushing (Q max obviously).

This would improve him without increasing dueling and teamfight potential, and make him good at the only thing he's supposed to be.

This is not nerfing nasus at all because nobody builds this item as it is awful on him

Maybe they should add some bonus ad scaling to Nasus too.

He primarily builds tank; his Q does all the damage. His E is armor shred his Q is essentially a perma-slow, he has passive life steal, and he works perfectly well with kleptomancy. I don't think he needs any boon to him.

The only thing on Nasus that change nerfs is Trinity Force, so it'd be more accurate to say most Trinity Force users need compensation by that logic.

Weakest at levels 1-7??

Aatrox Ashe AurelionSol Cassiopeia Elise Evelynn Fiddlesticks the list goes on.

Nasus's passive eliminates his "weak" early game allowing him to hit lv 6 and do a ton of damage with just sheen

No. He needs nerfs tbh.

Sterak's Gage was INTENTIONALLY changed to bonus AD because Trinity Force users get a shit ton of damage from that synergy. It was an INTENTIONAL NERF to anyone who builds the combination because Sterak's is a fully defensive item outside of the fact that it changes Trinity Force's 300% base ad extra damage on next auto attack into a 450% base ad extra damage basically. This means they're giving Sterak's to champions who are building it intentionally for the extra damage and the shield, not because they want their trinity force to do a shitton more damage. BTW Nasus doesn't scale with ANY AD. All of his abilities have no AD scaling. This is just to separate trinity force users from building Sterak's Gage specifically to increase their damage output a ton. This will now be more of an item to champions like Riven, Fiora, Darius. As for items for Nasus, Atma's Reckoning will be pretty good for him most likely, and Spear of Shojin can also be pretty good. Or he could build more defenses so he could survive longer. You could even STILL build Sterak's if you wanted to increase your auto attack damage.

TLDR This is still a nerf to Trinity Force/Sterak's users, but it's an INTENTIONAL nerf because they got too much out of the combination.

I believe that Nasus is in a bad spot of how the way that top lane is being set. As it is mostly Bruisers/Fighter, which that they can fight during landing phase and late game like Camille. Most counter {{champion: 75}} as he is super weak in the early game, however his late game is super good that he an 1v1 anyone late game. But we can't buff his q as it a scaling ability, so give it less CDR early game is just acceleration his late game earlier and his stacks would have no counter as most Nasus mains do know how to Q stack so it will be super helpful for them. Therefore there is no counter play as of now the best way to stop a {{champion: 75}} is to zone him from cs or apply so much pressure with your jungler that Nasus can't stay under this outer tower for safety but if you don't follow the basic way of shutting down Nasus is asking your team to wait for late game and allow Nasus to kill your whole team. Also when you pick Nasus you choose the risk that you can lose early game for you late and that is how it should be done because balancing his early game to make up his amazing late game. This how Gangplank is being balanced as his abilities can so so much damage to anyone even tanks but this come as at his early game to. So I hope you can see why Nasus is not seeing that many buffs
