Would it have been to hard to make the HUD moveable? Or have a 'Classic' layout option?
Exact same HUD Graphics, Effects, etc. Different position SO THAT WE ACTUALLY KNOW WHERE TO LOOK FOR THINGS.

Riot's just like "No no no, you want the HUD here". No Riot, I want the information where it's been for the almost-four years I've been playing LoL. "No no no, it's better this way". k den Rito read valuable player feedback, acknowledge its merits, then blatantly ignore it like every other time.
Runescape has a similar HUD design, but with the ability to move, resize, close, and open the information you want to see. You can put everything exactly where you want, and it's a browser game built on Java. Not only that, but over the last few years they have actually listened to their community and has seen a major increase in its player base again (who would have guessed).
It actually used to be possible to move elements of the HUD if you knew how to mess with the .ini files. I did it all the time.
Of course Riot decided to replace them with unreadable binary files so they clearly have no interest in allowing the community to make any significant changes to their HUD.
Please Riot.. give us a option to use the old HUD
I literally get eye pain, headaches, and can not see some of the info on it with out strain .. I play this game almost everyday and love it but I honestly will have to quit if I do not have the option for the old one back. I wear glasses and have a large monitor almost on top of me and it's still painful.. Please this is my first time I ever came on the boards to post but I feel like I have to. I love your game but sadly will not play anymore if I am forced to use this HUD.
It's not a matter of not liking it.. It is a matter of not being able to see and being in pain while trying to enjoy my favorite game.
This is what i want! I would prefer a hud like in WoW where you can move things around the screen to where you want them, even if they snap to the side of the screen or what not.
Depends on the game engine honestly. If they really fucked up in the coding end it could take an expensive and tedious fix to get it working. Does that mean it shouldn't still be done? Absolutely not, the damn thing should be implemented because a HUD is a form of user interface and each interface should be tailored to fit the needs of the user.
It's always been that way. Give it a week and you'll realize it's more efficient this way. You're just upset because you aren't used to change in a game where barely anything changes at all.
Would it have been hard for you to try getting used to it instead of screaming like a child 2 days after it comes out?
i can look up on youtube how to code a movable HUD and probably make one for a crappy game i made, and i have 3 days experience with coding... i think a well trained team of experienced professionals could do it for league without much trouble...
