I max W first since Q does almost no damage after the nerfs and each soldier procs Fervor once. I've had games where over 10k of my damage was physical. Fervor just got buffed a couple patches ago. If you haven't tried this I suggest you do and then tell me whether or not Azir is weak right now. This is my build path

Do you not understand the whole Fervor concept? You can get over 300 physical damage per auto late game. Not to mention towers are a WHOLE lot weaker and you can push them down within seconds.

I don't even play Azir (interested though) and can see the early benefit of attack speed easily outweighing AP for him.

Just because one build and rune/mastery stopped working well for you doesn't mean the champ needs buffs. It just means you need to change your stuff around a little bit. Even as an unranked/bronze player I can understand that.

Also, Thunderbirds isn't God of all masteries anymore. Branch out a bit.

This video was back before his knock up got removed, and his Q and W damage were nerfed. Just straight AP magic pen Azir is really weak right now after all the damage nerfs. That's why you go the Fervor Attack Speed route.
