Aatrox is an amazing champion.
I just want to say as a guy who loves playing melee champions that have both an impactful engage such as a dash or knock up and can hit shit hard as fuck, Aatrox feels like he has a good mix of both those desirable features but the one problem I have with him is his performance in the mid to late game. while in the early game he has the damage to destroy his laners, in the mid to late game he really loses so much power in his kit. while im aware riot plans to rework aa I just think he needs a few changes and not a total overhaul to his kit.
The ultimate for one is what gives aatrox most of his power and burst potential but the one big issue is how aa scales. primarily aatrox runs a full ad build so the scaling shouldn't be only ap if it had some ad ratios (at least around 0.5-0.7 ad or bonus ad on it) it'd make his potential damage on it able to contend with other other stronger champions and provide more use in a team fight overall.
The next thing that needs a fix is his passive. The current way it stacks is far too difficult since aa's kit doesn't come with innate attack speed (except his ultimate) which makes it almost a dead ability unless you are laning which still goes away very fast. To fix this you need to make it 4 stacks instead of 5 it'll allow a full rotation without the need to do 4-6 autos just to secure your passive where in a team fight it is crucial especially with the amount of cc that is thrown when he uses his ultimate make it so that his auto attacks are uninterruptible even through cc for the duration. that way he's still locked down and able to be disengaged from but have something unique while being able to fight for his life . It'd really bring truth to the legend of aatrox and allow him to do what his ultimate says.
lastly q needs either a stronger slow or a slight pull to it cause its already a relatively hard move to hit so giving it that extra oomph can just make him more consistent.
I really love the feel of his kit I just think he needs something that just makes his kit work faster and more cohesively.

because they rely on spells to be interwoven in their autoattacks. Besides, it also gives health, cdr, AS, and AD. So at best, it's a luxury item when you are ahead, I'd say.
