Is it really you or is it your team that hold you back?

Idk what it is but games pretty crazy atm. I understand some games it’s your fault but lately I’ve been feeling I have below subpar teammates. Last game I went 21/5 as wukong and lost. Mind you this is the same game my boT fed the mf 10 kills and got her a quad which I then killed her to get snowballing and make her useless. Idk my games been feeling wishy washy and i feel it has a lot to do with my teams. Sometimes they are just too toxic and demotivated for me to win and just give up the game. So as someone who’s back is on the wall I gotta ask what do I do?

Across a large string of games its you.

For individual matches when isolated it can very much be teammates.

Short answer: it's you

Long answer: some games are not winnable since it's a 5 man group game, you are 1 out of 5 it's fine that sometimes your team is too heavy or you are the one feeding and making the team heavy yourself. Across multiple rankeds however, you have only yourself to blame if you can't climb.

It Varies,

almost every one will Say you, But some times its not you . Losses are to be expected it happens its how you learn and grow

but there are a lot of games you can lose based on team..

its silly people say " If you're good you can carry" but they tend to forget that you have to get that good to carry some teams. not every one is a Challenger and able to carry fully dysfunctional teams. you have to get to a point where you can.

Wise man once said You will win 40% because of team You will lose 40% of games because of team. 20% that is left depends on you.

You realize you won’t win every game, you realize there are games where you are the feeder and your teammates feel the same about you, you remain consistent and you will slowly raise. Also realize most people aren't feeding to slight you, we all have bad games.

Both

Sometimes no matter how hard I try I can't win with some teammates

Sometimes no matter how bad I do I somehow end up winning because of my teammates

Sometimes no matter how good I do I can't win because I don't close out a game and keep trying to get advantages instead of ending the game

Sometimes it is me, sometimes it is my teammates.

Sometimes the enemy team just has better players.

All you can do is improve cause you can't change your teammates once you are in a game. There are games where I just monkey stomped my lane opponent AND the enemy jungler when he tried to gank and my team just did everything they could to lose. The game is balanced (or tries to be and fails with matchmaking) to make you win 50% of the time which means also losing 50% of the time. That doesn't mean you can't then improve to win more, or not improve and lose more.

People will say "it's mostly you, you are the only factor in every one of your games that is consistent", but sometimes it doesn't matter how good you are, not every game is winnable and there is no way to know that when you queue up to play.

Across a large string of games where you have teammates that feed, its your teammates. The data you need to look at is how many games out of at least 20 turn into these kind of 4-feeder stomps that you couldn't have much impact on (Ask yourself if there's a strategy to stop it before the loss starts, or its possible your main might not be optimal against your opponents comp).

Filter all of your games by how many turned out this way, and how many where your own performance was subpar (maybe you feed 1/20 games or less). Figure out how many matches felt even, that could have gone either way, (the really good matches worth playing). Check a service like Blitz to analyze your team's makeup before you commit to actually playing the game and dodge anything your gut says would result in a greater loss of LP (off-meta comps, no tanks, teammates with negative win rates, whole team gets counter-picked).

Its generally not recommended to play ranked right now because all the people who stopped playing came back and are rusty af.

At least 50% of the reason my score is so high/so low is because of my team It's a team game, yet sometimes teams just don't work

Occasionally I carry, most of the time, I get carried.

If it's over manygames it's probably you, if it's just a few it's not.

Just because you got fed doesn't mean you did jackshit for the game as a whole. Not saying that you did or didn't, but scores are the most misleading things in league. Besides, every game of league is so unique compared to the last that it isn't worth trying to compare them. Everyone thinks and plays differently so no two games are very alike.
