Such a funny reply. Because that's totally what Riven/Renek/Irelia are doing right now.
Riven used to be MUCH less toxic than now. She was only 1v5 in certain player's hands who could be credited as paid Trainers/Challengers.
P.S. I think it's horrible for the game (ignoring the Riven comment in this part)
Why? There's a difference between what actually occurs and the "ideal" of teams working together.
Reality: You usually play with 3-4 other players for only one game, and then never see them again (there are exceptions). You never get to learn to play with them. They never get to learn to play with you.
And there is no such thing as learning to play as a team with anyone, anywhere.
So, while you may endorse team play, this is what team play REALLY is:
5 Randoms playing in loose formation at best, hoping to get lucky versus the other team by making a series of chance decisions. In other words, LUCK.
The only factor that generally decides games: decisions made by YOU, to compensate for your team and uncertainty. Your decisions to push during a Baron. Your decisions to steal a Drake your jungler is ignoring. Your decisions to early game roam to create a snowball on a hypercarry. It's all still you.
And the problem with trying to engineer a game where this isn't possible anymore is simply....... because the outcome you desire is impossible (Team play being coordinated).... is general player base dissatisfaction as they succumb to the realization they no longer control their destinies in the climb as much as they used to.
