Why don't we start with higher amount of gold ?
honestly, if riot wants the match to end fast they should give more gold to begin with.

games dont end with more gold, they end with good desicion making. cause the same gold will go to both teams and it will basically cancel out and early game champions will loose thier shine. I just had a game where enemy team snowballed, but we held with full force till 70 mins and then we were able to end it. the enemy team had 3 chances to end it but they chose to go for other objectives and for kills.
yea... not all games are like that my friend.
More gold at start means everyone starts with more potions which can lead to even less interactive lanes without jungler help. Mid lane is already usually 2 people playing a PvE game until 6 and starting DRing and 4 pots will only increase that.
then lower the limit of potions you can carry and make it 3 instead of 5 that shouldnt be a problem
So if we start with say.....125 extra gold we would be able to buy DRing+3 pots and have 75 gold to I guess buy a ward or DBlade/DShield 3 pots and have 25 gold to do nothing with. Neither of these are particularly exciting. It gets even worse in the jungle where you get your item and then refillable or 3 pots and then do nothing with the rest of your gold besides buy a control ward and still sit on 50 gold.
why did you take 125 extra gold in particular? you're basically answering a problem with no information at all, lol. you could start with like 900 gold total and have way more options in starting items. double dorans + 2 pots/ dorans blade + long sword + 3 pots.. I don't think it's necessary at all to do this change because the current champions are balanced around 1 starting item worth of sustain so yeah
I just said potions wouldn't be the problem in this case
I am just being realistic because there is no way they will give us Twisted Treeline levels of gold due to how hard it would be to balance on Summoner's Rift. Imagine starting at 950 gold or 1000 gold. Double Doran's mid would be ridiculously strong (it's already absurdly cost effective) or even starting with a Lost Chapter straight out gives you infinite mana in lane. A funny scenario is Singed being able to just buy 2 dark seals and refillable and start the fun proxy shenanigans.
I agree wholeheartedly that it would be too hard to balance for the "premiere game mode" which is why I also think this hypothetical of "starting with more gold" is a waste of time and shouldn't be explored further (also every single lane being able to fit a control ward into their opening build would make ganking far too difficult and could on its own ruin the jungle especially if we keep the current jungle you cannot power farm and HAVE to gank).
More starting gold means an even amount of power added to all players when they go out to lane.
That means proportionally less power is gained from xp and gold gained once everyone has left the fountain.
Increasing starting gold would, if anything, probably slow down the early game and make it easier for farming champions to sit in lane and stall out the game until they scale.
Everything you just said sounded like fun.
if you like late game champions, is amazing.
Adc should get a little bit more gold or cheaper items.
They already have one of the cheaper builds in the game. The typical ADC build has 4 items that cost less than 2700 items (Zeal item, boots, defensive item/another Zeal item, and a LW item).
Or just more gold generation, I'd say. Make late-game come faster, rather than give too much power to early game champions.
I don't know, honestly. Game balance isn't exactly all that easy.
