Jungle diversity since scuttle change has been garbage and there has been no effort to fix it

I'm not going to waste everybody's time with a wall of text explaining the problem because we've all played it throughout season 8. Scuttle made jungle into a nonstop gank fest because experience sucks and the best way to win is to gank after your first camp with graves, lee sin or whoever else is high damage level 2. Scuttle changes have been hilariously bad for diversity and if anything they made early ganks more prominent because it's the only way to stay even in experience with the rest of the game.

Junglers that don't do this well haven't been seen in months. The reason that nobody is playing a diverse group of junglers is not because the popular junglers are "more fun," it's because they have overloaded kits that have been buffed to the point that you have to hide in your jungle and pray that Lee and Graves don't find you for 12 minutes until you have an item built. Fix your game, Riot. It's been months. Time to stop forcing the high damage meta everywhere and actually make balance a thing you care about or this game or you're going to start losing a lot of players.

Interesting. ... your recent match history has ... no current meta junglers.

Volibear Shyvana Rammus MasterYi

Voli and Rammus have good Scuttle control, Shyv and Yi aren't as good.

So I'm not sure I understand how you're coming to this conclusion about 'meta junglers' when you don't really play them.

I guess you could say that you are usually playing against some, and maybe they are out performing you, but that isn't always a result of the champion being superior, .. much less their ability to control a single objective.

I'm not saying that you're wrong, .. but with the limited window I'm able to see in your recent match history, I'm not seeing how you're coming to this conclusion.

Shyvanna really isn't that bad of a jungler. Yi is pretty good at jungle if you play him correctly.

I'm not saying that they aren't, but they aren't great in the current meta, and they are not really good with Scuttle control, ... which seems to be the basis of this person's post.

After reading the OP I guess what I'm reading is that he or she would like to pick multiple different off meta jungle champions who don't seem to be strong since the scuttle changes. Maybe he or she wants to play zac or J4 who have struggled in the current state of the jungle but feels like he or she must pick rammus because of the current meta.

Or maybe he or she just wants their current champion pool to be better. He or she feels like putting less emphasis on scuttle crab might both diversify the jungle and improve Master Yi's win rate at the same time.

Well I don't want to put words in his or her mouth but I just wanted to point out there are different ways of interpreting what is being said in the OP.

I guess that could be the case.

Maybe we actually could have used that wall of text that they were trying to avoid including so that it was clear what they were actually trying to say.

Rammus has awful scuttle control. Have you tried to do a level 2 scuttle with Rammus? You can't even use your w because you'll be too slow to keep up with it. Plus as soon as you finish with an ability, you just get destroyed by an auto attack champ like Graves or Xin. Also, why on Earth would I make a post about my own recent champion picks when there has been a Graves/Xin/Lee meta happening for the last 6+ months which is backed up by every league data site there is? I don't understand why you would think the champions that I am picking in my last 20 games has any sort of connection to this general issue.

Honestly, no I haven't committed much of an attempt at playing Rammus as a jungler. So I am willing to accept that I do not understand his strengths and weaknesses.

That is actually my point.

Not having personal experiences with things that might otherwise seem strong or weak because of how I have seen someone else play or because of statistics on paper is likely to give someone an inaccurate opinion.
