Is it cus ancient coin is so bad? Is it cus relic shield is just way better due to the sustain?
i personally really like talisman when i get filled into support. I usually get it on thresh and personally am fond of it. I also get it cus every time i get relic shield my adc is braindead and doesn't allow me to proc it
khorney3 votesRelic shield isn't better sustain nor is the gold income better.if you go talisman it's recommended to build ruby ss .on thresh it's perfect because he can't excuse cs effectively with relic shield. Most adcs thinks it's a selfish item.....I'm sorry if I want armor hp mana regeneration and cdr

Nahui1 votesWell there are two types of supports: AP and tank.
We're currently in a bit of a higher damage meta so AP's will tend to go FQC while tanks will almost exclusively go Mountain. Very few supports can utilize coin better than either of those, but there are some such as Thresh, Soraka and maybe Blitz simple for disengage or engage due to the nature of their kits.

Mysticman891 votesI think in most cases melee supports will indeed want the relic shield line. I can't really think of any exceptions (keeping in mind here that thresh is technically ranged -coin or relic are both viable on him depending on how confident you are in your ability to use your relic charges). The extra sustain for your adc (and usually guaranteed canon minions) is too useful to pass up.
If you want a teamwide movespeed boost on braum, righteous glory is an option. If you just want movespeed for braum himself, remember that using unbreakable gives him movespeed.
Nahui1 votesWell what will he do with that boost? He has no hard engage, like Thresh or Blitz have. They take it so they can rush the carry and hook him, often spelling instant doom. Braum can rush at them and...Q? Ult? Ult has too long of a wind up both in casting animation and projectile speed, Q is just a slow. Plus, Braum needs to be a tank, so relic is better. Blitz and Thresh build tanky, but they're not exactly the same kind of tank that Braum is. Blitz and Thresh's purposes aren't to soak damage, it's to provide hard utility through peel and picks while Braum is meant to literally jump in front of the damage and take it full force.
Mysticman891 votesI used to actually build talisman a lot, but nowadays stuff like redemption/locket/etc are higher build priorities most of the time, so I actually only make the leap from nomads to talisman pretty late into the game.
