Extra Perks For Queuing for Support

I'm a Vel'koz Mid main and I mainly only play AP champions, which means I'm queuing as Support for my secondary.

As you might guess, I'm getting Support about 95% of my games.

Can there be some actual benefits for people that are playing the role that (apparently) no one else wants to play? The "perk" of guaranteeing me one of my selected roles really isn't helping me play my Primary.

Extra IP for wins?
Three Support games = Guaranteed primary role in next game?
2-3 Extra LP for wins? (I go so far as to ask for this because I honestly do feel like you're more at the mercy of your teammates as a Support)

Other ideas? I really wish more people would play Support. Although it looks like Supports are getting some neat new items next season, I'm also worried Riot's vendetta against vision is going to chase even more people away from it.

Omg I feel you though. When I went jungle/support, bot/support, and mid/support I got support in almost 75% of my games if not more and it frustrated the hell out of me. Especially that "you're guaranteed one of your selected roles because you auto-filled last game" bonus which felt more like a slap in the face than anything since I was still going to get support no matter what.

One thing I believe Riot should focus more on is carry supports, meaning develop more play-making supports like Bard, Taric, Alistar, and Thresh rather than supports like Janna, Sona, Soraka, and the newest addition support ivern xD. I find that most people don't play support because they can't carry with it in solo queue, so if Riot increased the influx of carry supports or supports that truly affect every aspect of the game, I believe that would give players a great incentive to return to the support role.

I also have been wishing Riot would make something where if you played 2-3 support games you'd be guaranteed your primary role. I don't care if I have to wait an extra five minutes to get my mid role I'd rather play my main role where I know I can carry my team from hell instead of getting stuck with support and relying on my own team to win the game "for the most part"

(which is always an awful decision to have to make in solo queue when you're pretty sure someone just snipped your teammates spinal cords as they play the game.)

I get my primary role 100% of the time (support/jungle) :P well more like 99% of the time, I did get jungle once.

i would play supports but they dont have anyone really interesting to me besides braum or thresh. i want an actual void creature support. or some other bad guy. we have too many good guys. or at least a guy who is nuetral and doesnt care.
