Part of The Reason Why Games are Shorter in Season 6 is Because People Are Surrendering More

As the title says. Ever since this season started everyone got so pessimistic. Sure, snowballing is extreme right now and once you make a mistake the enemy team is gonna capitalize on that. But you can always come back if the enemy makes a mistake because you can do the exact same thing and turn the snowball's direction around. If you go into a game with the thought that an early lead will win the game, you will perform better if you get that early lead and perform worse if not, it's a placebo effect, which I think causes the current trend of stomps more than anything else. I can't force anyone to do this but please keep that in mind the next time a surrender vote shows up and try to motivate yourself.

When im losing i just think of it like this. When everyones full build and gold doesnt matter anymore who has the better team? Kinda motivates me to play better.

Except you can't see the future so you don't actually know you're going to lose. If you can manage to stall the game until everyone is full build, it could go either way.

99% my teammates don't surrender I lose.

Tbh, unless my team is winning my games actually feel like they're getting longer. A lot of them go like this.

My team feeds I go godlike trying to clean up after them I fail to close out the game because I can't bust tanks anymore like I could last season, even if I am retardedly ahead of everyone else in the game At late game I try to do the old run in 1v5, erase the ADC/APC in less than 0.5 seconds and then mash buttons until I either die or everyones dead while my team follows up. Fail to instagibb because I no longer get through their armour as well as I used to and hate building crit, plus I don't even scratch the nearby tanks with my ale They ace and we lose. GG 40+ mins of work wasted.

Games are just faster. Half the time by 15 minutes one team is already at an inhib turret and 10 kills ahead. You'll wonder if you could wait it out until late game until you remember they have Vayne Quinn as ADC and Top - then you can't type "/ff" fast enough.
