Riot your massive incompetence in regards to ARAM design is nothing short of frustrating
How a company like Riot can consciously believe that they made ARAM better blows my mind. You guys fell flat. Every "improvement" to ARAM you've made has favoured poking high range champions and snowballed the mode even more.
Let's start with the awful health pack placement.
You know, and I know, that poke comps and comps with large range are big problems in ARAM. I'm sure you must've thought "hey if we put sustain on the map... poke won't be so overpowered."
Yet you goofballs manage to place it in a spot where the champions that need the sustain are ZONED from it. Meaning the team with stronger poke controls 3 health packs while the other team controls 1.
So what was supposed to be for the sake of parity results in a larger snowball effect based on team comp.
Now let's talk the atrocious camera angle in the howling abyss. It sucks. We're done talking about the atrocious camera angle in the howling abyss.
Now let's talk about the synergy between the passive mana regen aura, chalice of harmony and poke champions. It's bad.
Literally every addition you made to the howling abyss has favoured heavy poke champions, snowballing and made getting the right picks even more important. Every addition you made to the howling abyss over the proving grounds has proven to be a flop other than maybe rerolls and even then that's debatable. You've placed health packs in a position where the stronger team comp controls more hp (due to zoning) resulting in more snowballing. You've added a mana regen aura that makes poking ridiculous due to its synergy with chalice. The camera angle is godawful and borderline unplayable as purple.
It's a shame you made it a matchmade queue because now it funnels all the players into your awful version and not into a better version like proving grounds.
