#Can you guarantee that I'll still be able to play champions in multiple ways?

Example:

Tank Teemo
Splitpush Udyr
Lifesteal Udyr
Max CDR/AP "Blow Em Up" Karthus
Spellvamp Jungle Karthus
Crit Damage Jhin/Panth/Trynd
Max AS Trynd

I have some very specific rune pages that are absolutely a must have setup for certain champions to be viable in certain lanes/roles/playstyles;

##With the new setup it seems like there is a lot less theorycrafting/off-meta viability, and just forcing champions to be played in a certain way only.

Oh you still can play everything, but its very very likely that I wouldnt be that good/viable anymore ;P

The things they reduced all the masteries and runes down to 5/6 runes.... Getting things balanced for 130+ Champs and only 5-6 high impact runes will be beyond crazy. Things will very likely be set in stone, aka. there will be "this is the absolut best" cases. If you have alot of smaller choices you can tweak them to fit/make an alternative strategy way better. with only 5/6 choices this will get alot more black and white. Thats, and the balancing problems with such extremely high impact runes, is what I fear the most.

True. Yet old runes were sadly usually used in extremely classic pages. I guess the goal is to make more metagame choices, but less optimization/tentative offmeta choices. Which is both good and bad.

I don't know why I'm constantly surprised by Riot doing the opposite of what they stated previously:

They wanted less snowball-y games; now has 15min surrender, rift herald, etc
They said they want to encourage off-meta playstyles/builds; nerf the shit out of everything that isn't meta (tank fizz, etc)
Say they're giving more options and customization and impactful game abilities with the new runes; looks like removing player options and choice of rune setups.

Just a string in a long list of things Riot saying one thing and doing the complete opposite.
