I'm a supp/jg main, and now both these roles feel like straight ass to play. I barely get two items as supp in a 30 minute game (and that's if I hard farm a lane or secure kills after laning phase is over).
With jg it's even worse. Die once or --gasp-- heaven forbid you get invaded and die, then I'm behind like 2 levels on everyone. What ass.

Yeah, they said they did it so you don't have to invest money in upgrading your support item but also make supports weaker early
but now supports feel weak early, and weak later and after earning enough gold for a third of an item, the gold generation shuts off, but you keep the poaching debuff so then you get punished if you decide to split push
I'm sure I'll make it work eventually but it does feel way worse playing bottom lane
Honestly I've just been building Frozen Heart on every Support now because I lack mana to do anything.
It sucks, but hey, it's a temporary fix. Just need to chill when people start spam-clicking your Warden's Mail.
3 year support main <<<<< says yah and what's new? Shits been aids for a long time unless you duo. I mean fuck the only thing we do on our own is ward and riots been nerfing vision consistantly for years.
I've yet to share your experience, apparently. Been supporting quite a bit and I usually get to about 2-3 items in a 20-30 minute game, not counting boots and support item which only eat up, what, 1,500g of the 7,000g-10,000g I've been making per game?
supp is ok to me but jg its a pain to play if you dont have any succeful gank.

There was no reason they should have been able to be as tanky as the top/jungle or doing almost as much damage as the mid with NO farm. Supports were absolutely out of control. They’re now more in line with what the support role originally was, ie you’re there to help your team mates, not clap the enemies yourself. Idk, I think support is fine right now.
I play mostly 
in the support position when I’m not queuing fill. (I know it’s off meta but it works and its fun, key word here)
Removing mana regen is a huge nerf but I feel like it might shift the meta in a better direction. I found playing vs 
every game very unfunny as an ADC.
I have two possible build paths depending on if I’m playing or a supportive mage. For Zoe I buy a Doran’s ring and boots first back and build into

and build ardent/redemption.
I think they should tweak the poaching on the tier 3 support items and add more gpt so supports don’t get stuck at 2 items.
Both of those roles required 0 skill last season. I understand it might be hard to learn them now :)

Ok sona needs some work done so her w needs to be changed to a root her R needs to do more damage and I think she need to be more tank / her Q probably needs to be changed to something cooler her heal is kinda lame and please give her a new cool skin like star Guardian sona or true damage sona or KDA sona if y’all can and don’t forget tank
The question remains, why would I ever play anything but the engage supports?
Have you tried full AP 
support? He is really really really strong and fun now - and his winrate backs it up. His E enhanced with arcane comet does huge burst damage and he pretty much controls the entire jungle with his dangerous traps.
So, support is warm and tight.
I just KS the crap outta my team, and then tell them to farm. :)
I also mute pings and share farm.

i just played support. my adc afked 2 mins in. i had 750 free mana, had a full build. 6 full items. never ran out of mana.
