Ever since this new patch, I've been getting a weird bug with the camera lock.
Normally I play unlocked camera, and have the SPACE bar bound to toggle the "CENTER ON CHAMPION" toggle (soft toggle).
Pretty much every time now I press space bar while in spawn, the camera will auto-lock and pressing SPACE bar again won't unlock. I have to manually click the unlock icon in the bottom right.
This bug is very annoying
I've got this too and it's super annoying. my hotkey toggle camera lock won't turn it off or on either.

ITS FIXED, THE BUGFIX IS IN FOR THIS NEW PATCH!!!
I play with a locked camera, but this mildly infuriates me just reading this. It just sounds so obnoxious.
I found that clicking on the minimap releases you from the bug.
Go to your settings and assign Space to "Select yourself"
I have the exact same bug, it super annoying during team fights or engages when the camera locks, and it does in the worst time possible..... P.S. for me the issue started last week as well after the patch...

UPDATE: As of 11/19, still having this problem. I tried changing the key bind for my space bar from the camera focus bind, to what @ShirarezaruEiyuu suggested below: "Select yourself" (normally the F1 key I believe). The bug still persists even with this change of keybind.

I've been getting the same bug too!
Steps to reproduce: Die in the game with unlocked camera selected as a setting, then press Space to Center on champion at roughly the same time you are respawning. Every once in a while, the camera will become locked and you will have to toggle it off manually.
It's a little bit annoying having to unlock the camera manually when it happens and it can even be detrimental if you have to pull off that sick 1v5 play to stop your nexus from blowing up, as every split second counts in those moments.
