The Urgot power shifts MIGHT be justified

But Riot, are you ready to revert the nerf part of them if he doesn't improve?

i feel like the shield nerfs were a little excessive, a whole .8 AP ratio, duration and base got taken down?

a slightly higher mana ratio might even it out

To be fair, nothing Urgot builds has AP on it after the IBG changes in preseason. Additionally, he can cast his shield while channeling his ult and has a pretty potent fear on the tail end of the swap, so I'd call it a net buff.

But a net buff on an already suffering champion is a suffering champion?

Dude they are only shifting him so that Zed players don't have to face him midlane anymore, they don't care about his power level.

Don't get your reasoning.

These changes are pushing him pretty hard into the bruiser spectrum and out of the tanky AD caster side of things. He'll need more gold invested in durability to stay alive, but now has uses outside of damage and a single target CC. Very few true bruisers go mid lane since gold and tower safety is less relevant to them, meaning Urgot will mostly be a top lane pick after these changes.

Zed and Urgot won't really face each other in lane much now, so it is a slight buff to Zed.
