Buffing the other masteries is nice but thunderlords + precision still need to be nerfed
One or the other at least. I don't think people understand, giving any champion an extra burst rotation in their spell horribly warps the game and distorts the perception of who may be op and who may not be.
Anyone with a burst combo that has at least 3 spells in its rotation will seem obnoxiously broken since this adds the most upfront burst. Anything that would do it slower just feels like bullshit because it's random damage out of nowhere and there's no real way to outplay or effectively feel like you are itemizing against it in most cases.
I truly believe the mastery needs to be remade entirely. When warlords and fervor were broken, they were broken on champions that had obvious synergy with it. You didn't see 4-5 fervor or warlord masteries on each team each game. You are seeing that with thunderlords, which suggests there's a fundamental problem with the mastery as it doesn't fit a specific niche. It's just pure burst and unless you break every other mastery to this point, which is horrible for the game, there's no reason to never take this, especially with how snowbally the game is now.
Either way you slice it, leaving thunderlords alone or buffing other masteries to be as broken as thunderlords is terrible for the game. It will end up just being a rotation of abusing a ridiculously overtuned mastery until it's nerfed, rinse and repeat. This is just so bad for the game long term and I feel like buffing the other masteries up some is the right move but leaving thunderlords alone isn't. The mastery needs to be remade entirely as it's just a broad spectrum mastery for power and doesn't fit any specific niche.
