Watching Poppy ult Lee Sin away and be a general nuisance to him is poetic justice

This is how everyone else feels when they play against you, Lee.

Its not justice unless it nukes for 500 + damage.

No, that would be "even".

And only scales off the target's health, instead of calculated for everyone hit individually.

The funniest Poppy Ult I have seen it her slamming me as Karthus through the map, I survive the ult with one, no hyperbole ONE point of HP but then I landed on the wolf camp with my E on and they killed me.

3TWarrior2 votes

well, at least you got free gold for your troubles unless they outregened it

Hahahahyena2 votes

camps outregen karthus damage because "oh im taking damage but i cant target anything... better regen everything that would normally kill me²"

This needs to be on YouTube.

I expect the day they'll replace her ult with something else because of " Lee sin community backlash" , sorry guys! . ( riot)

DreamCrushed28 votes

I was really hoping there was going to be a video. I would love a montage of "Screw you Lee, Yasuo, Yi, etc." Poppy Ultimates :D

Leadpaintchips3 votes

This needs to be a thing!

Calhendren23 votes

Except for the fact that Poppy's ult is sent to oblivion by Yasuo's ult, Windwall. ... What do you mean, it's not his ult?

"Lee isn't really strong, people just think he is because he can choose his fights" - C9 Rush 2k15

Robert Smith37 votes

Isn't it strong to be able to run from or engage fights whenever you want.

JusticePauldrons11 votes

Pretty much, he can fly across the map at a whim, instantly displace an entire team and get out, or stay and deal respectable damage. Even if he chooses not to go in one a target the amount of vision he provides (truesight btw) is ridiculous for a guy thats blind.

Vagabound3 votes

Its funny cuz characters that usually weigh heavy in terms of meta are those that:

  1. Can pick when or how they want a fight to start
  2. Be so strong that they can overpower everyone else if a fight starts without their approval
  3. A combination of 1 and 2.

1 and 3 are usually preferred mostly in higher skilled matches whereas 2 is mostly preferred in lower skilled matches except when they're so strong they're broken. Then 2 outweighs 1 and 3 in every skill tier. Lee Sin is currently 1 to the T, so much so its disgusting as a champ concept. Ekko also was until they decided to nerf him because he was deemed "too obnoxious". He admittedly was also easier to execute than Lee Sin due to the high base value of his shield and ult but that doesn't excuse Lee Sin. He's a terrible bar to use for comparison of "healthy champ design" IMO.

Shinjusuke6 votes

That's literally the best strength there is.

That and the overloaded-to-hell kit. Or the fact that he's literally never been a bad jungle pick. In any jungle iteration. Ever. Or the fact that he's easily one of the most, if not the most, versatile champions in the entire game. Or the fact that he's literally immune to actual changes because Riot shows pathetically obvious favoritism towards him.

He has never been bad because Riot makes the jungle for Lee Sin.

"Ugh fucking broken poppy" - yasuo trying to dash through the wave 5 times to get to me

Only Play Darius11 votes

It only stops one dash. Seeing as Yasuo's dashes have literally no cooldown, this shouldn't hinder him

Ariel the Cruel1 votes

I thought it had a .5-.1 second CD.

Ralanr4 votes

Yeah. At max rank he'll dash multiple times if there are multiple targets.

He's a lot weaker when you don't hide behind minions funnily enough.

The Governer2 votes

It has on-target cooldown though. That should stop Yasuo from dashing through Poppy for some time.

Dystopiac13 votes

watch lee sin and other dashers get buffed and poppy's antirush field get nerfed because"it makes games boring and is antifun"

KnightOfEloHell10 votes

I'm not even mad when I get sent flying by poppy.

It's just so funny, I don't even mind it xD

charcharmunro9 votes

I often wonder if the toxicity of Riven players on average had an increase since the new Poppy came out...

Chrome Raven3 votes

i love that stereotype tbh. its like a bandwagon all the salty kids can ride to make themselves feel superior

Saianna13 votes

Not really a stereotype..

Chrome Raven3 votes

alright it says here youve played nidalee a lot so your a nid main. by my calculations you are a toxic 10 year old just like the rest of them,

Vincent Lucius8 votes

What's you're point? I haven't heard anyone complain about Nid mains in a while, but I have dealt with Riven players that have no idea what they're doing and/or AFK after feeding their lane, which is the stereotype because it is based on a fairly common experience.

There are nice people, like BoxBox, that play Riven( Although he gets a bit intense at times he never rages from what I know) but there's also a decent amount of jerks.

DreamCrushed6 votes

AD Malzahar, killed the Riven ONCE in the first ten minutes of the game before I even got ultimate and she went AFK immediately.

It really isn't a stereotype if it's true :P

Sure there are exceptions, but a good deal of people pick Riven hoping for an easy win, and when it doesn't come they rage. Again, not all, but certainly more so than any other champion.

Vincent Lucius5 votes

It's adorable... until you realize it's a 4v5.

Skoonie7 votes

Honestly, it's liberating to have a champion who can tell folks like Lee and Yasuo 'no,' even if it doesn't last for very long.

DogIsGod7 votes

I don't mind getting ulted by Poopy, but getting nuked by Lee Sin's 600BD+200%AD+18%HP ult is a whole other story.

Clockwork Madoka7 votes

Don't destroy Poppy's W Riot, it's one of the only reasons she stands out from anyone else, especially in a dash-heavy meta.

Zedex2 votes

Why would they do that...?

its hardly an issue.

SpecterVonBaren6 votes

The ult isn't even the best part. Was laning against a top lane Lee Sin yesterday as Poppy and it felt sooooo good to see him try for his bullshit jump in jump out crap only for my W to stop him dead.

Day 985 _There are still people who hate LeeSin and think he's op. I see no light at the end of the tunnel. _

Nechronia19 votes

You know it's possible to hate someone without thinking theyr op right?

Yosuke Apperu7 votes

He just has way too much in his kit.. in terms of damage, defense, and ultility.. He has the greatest everything kit of any champion in the game.

Kieferr1 votes

OK then... If you really think he has the strongest and most desirable kit in the game, play only Lee in ranked for the next 100 games. If you're not in challenger by then then everything you just said is wrong.

Ulquiorra99512 votes

I can't get to challenger by playing Yasuo either, yet that doesn't mean I can't hate his overloaded kit to hell and back.

Yosuke Apperu3 votes

Your logic is absolutely astounding.. You still have to know how to play a champion. But someone playing lee with a skill level equal to their opponent's skill level has no reason not to win. His damage is ridiculous (both base and scaling) Plus if he sees a fight that he can't win he has an easier time escaping than many other champions. Think of him as a jack of all trades who's way above average on all of them. If you want to have a conversation using actual logic rather than just acting butt hurt, I'm fine with that as well friend :)

Kieferr1 votes

Equal skill no reason not to win -Then practice him and win games. Damage is ridiculous -Then go win all your fights in solo q and climb to challenger. Nobody will stop you. Scaling -Yeah, no other champion in the game scales quite like Lee. I mean have you ever faced a 40 min LeeSin? He does more damage than a 6 item Yi! Easier time escaping -Then go on and escape all your bad fights. Every Lee player should have a >5.0 KDA with him since he never dies. Jack of all trades who's way above average -Then again, win all your skirmishes and end the game in 18 min. And climb to challenger. I'm butthurt? -I'm not the one living in the past hating on champions that don't matter. Lee is one of the worst solo q champs in the whole game, he has a 47% winrate while Trundle, Volibear and Mundo are soaring high on ~56% winrates. All of them are much stronger and more useful than him, and nobody complains about them? "Oh but Lee has zuh mobilitee! Every champion in the game that has a dash iz toksic kansur! Durrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr"

Yosuke Apperu2 votes

I don't get if you're doing this because you want a big E-peen or something? 1.8 bonus ad on q + it's an execute. 1.0 bonus ad on E (which is aoe mind you) and 2.0 bonus ad scaling on his ultimate.. plus even more damage if your target collides with someone.. plus it's another aoe skill + displacement. Throw in the fact that he has two gap closers aoe slow, shield and survivability steroid on second cast of his w.. I didn't even mention everything that he's capable of or his entire kit But oh wait... win rates are all that matters XD I also love how you attempt to make my quotes look stupid by exaggerating them so much so that they aren't even close to what I originally said :P

Oh, I almost forgot to add... Champions that don't matter? Lee sin has never been out of meta.. and if he has It doesn't stay that way for long lol

Truly Prideful3 votes

This is probably my favorite part about the new Poppy, the way she makes Lee Sin struggle. Hope the annoying bastard enjoys it.

I'm kind-of getting sick of how everyone laughs when i ult someone :D

It's likely that CT's new champion will have a dash with CC immunity added, because we all know how innovative it is to bypass your champion's counters.
