They fixed it. Its gonna be implemented in next patch.

"The new system was built with the assumption that it might cause issues with the old. As such… we’ll be switching it back to the old behavior in all of its unknowable glory while we work on and dig more into the pathing system.

This will be in 5.24 for everyone, but we’ll test it first on EUW to make sure nothing goes crazy."

90 degrees my friend. If you take 90 perpendicular paths to the skill shot you will nearly always miss them. I've told this to my friends and it has worked wonders. Now you two can laugh as Ahri tries to seduce you with a balloon heart only to get that Turret looking in her direction since she was so sure she could charm you, throwing out all her skills and getting into the tower range.

Did you even read what he said? I think everyone knows how to juke a skillshot, it's simple. The issue (like he clearly said), is that the creep block cucks you at literally every turn.

You know they have reverted the collision system with minions right? I might have misread that but I'm nearly positive that's what i've read. If that's the case i'm going to voice my unpopular opinion and say Stay out of minion waves That's one of the things I used to do with Hecarim, i'd run through a minion wave to get away from enemies with my free passive phantom dancer. Minion block has always been there, stop crying about how you can't just phase through/push minions out of your way. They serve more to the game then a two dimensional role as lane pressure.

They "are reverting" the changes, but haven't yet.

OP specified that it is particularly bad for melee champions. Your advice of "staying out of minion waves" would equate to "just forget about cs."

Now don't you just feel foolish.

I do not feel foolish because there is a difference from farming and trying to charge through a minion wave. Or don't you know there is a difference? You can purposely spread minion waves out, look up wave control on youtube, you'll learn something.

The issue here is that the minions are larger than they appear. Couple that with the way riot butchered the pathing and you have a major problem.

Your entire post revolved around the changes being reverted, which they weren't. You then went on to use a champion that couldn't be minion blocked as an example of how to not get minion blocked, which makes no sense... That in itself should make you feel foolish.

You are correct, minion block has always been there, however it was not nearly as large of an issue as it is now. As it stands currently, even if you're just farming the chance of being blocked by your own wave is substantial. Even if you have the wave spread out and there appear to be gaps between caster minions or w/e the games pathing is still going to make you run from top lane, circle around rift herald three times, touch the bushes at mid lane, and then go back to your lane just to get past the three little minions.

That's true and that happens a lot with many other video games. Such as first person shooters, RPGs, and especially MOBAs, ever wonder why a skill-shot seems to go slightly farther than what it appears to be? That's because invisible polygon hit-boxes are around the object to varying scales.

I read a Red post previously that had stated that they were reverting the changes for the minions, I'm not going to waste my time and effort to try and track it down, since even if I did you would complain about something else in my argument and this is getting tedious.

I have never had this experience, try making shorter clicks and not leaving it up to the system's in-built pathing program lead it where it want's you to go. Yeah it's not as fast or as relaxed as making one click several dozen units away, but it'll solve your pathing problem.

just dont stand near minion and risk getting cced rofl /r/bonzeadvice

RasCaelestis1 votes

Ah, yes. Don't stand near those things I need to be near to attack. Right. Got it. The logic here is flawless.

Is this sarcasm? Because if its sarcastic enough to the point it becomes serious, it makes you look like an idiot
