Morgana: Gets played varily often: Dark Binding: 11 seconds cooldown; 50-90 mana cost; 1175 units range; broken hitbox; 80-300(+90%AP) magic damage; 2-3 seconds snare

Varus: Currently low played: Chain of Corruption (his ultimate): 110-70 seconds cooldown; 100 mana cost; 1075 units range; 150-350(+100%AP) magic damage; 2 seconds snare

Just want to bring up how a basic spell out shines another champion's ULTIMATE; and you cannot really say it is because Morgana doesn't get played, because she does. Now champions that get played that need nerfs more would be the likes of Zed, Leblanc, Annie, Kararina, etc. The point being a basic spell should not be stronger than someone else ultimate, or even close to being on an ultimate level spell.

Varus could probably stand being buffed, but I think you might be leaving out a detail or two about his ultimate.

Multi-target, can proc his W for additional damage, much faster projectile speed, and also considering it's on an adc allowing much higher teamfight utility for his team.

By that I'm counting 3 major points not mentioned, I'm sure there are more.

This community is very intelligent /sarcasm The post is about Dark Binding being too good with its ability to compare to an ultimate, has nothing to do with Varus' ultimate which is perfectly fine

And you left out the entire rest of Varus's ultimate which makes it an ultimate.

Basic skills in a vacuum can and sometimes do outperform ultimates. Veigar's E for instance (especially if the stopping dashes change goes through) WILL be more powerful then J4's ultimate... until you realize J4 also gives a bruiser-tank a reliable gapcloser and forces a champion to face his melee strength in an arena they cannot easily escape. Taric's E is better than Vi's ult... until you realize Vi also gapcloses directly to a squishy while knocking aside targets in her way and puts a melee bruiser face to face with a squishy.

Otherwise, you left out projectile speeds (Morgana's Q at 1200 and Varus's R at 2000) and pass through (Morgana's Q stops at first target hit, can hit minions. Varus's R can spread to enemies to apply the same damage and root, passes through minions and monsters).

Varus' ultimate has nothing to do with this, this has everything to do with Dark Binding being too strong, Varus' ultimate is perfectly fine as an ultimate- it is to point out how blatantly strong Morg's binding really is and needs to get toned down

Chain of corruption can hit multiple targets...

It is single target and very rarely hits a secondary target, the point being Morgana's Dark Binding is too strong, and has nothing to do with Varus' ultimate, i don't think Varus' ultimate is weak by anyways means and that is not the point to this, it is to point out how fking op dark binding really is being on level with an ultimate
