His W is the only weak thing about him and you are seriously nerfing his W instead of his overpowered abilities? [sg-lux-2]

Dont downrate a 20 mana increase for W on a champ that already has Mana Band as mandatory and still goes out of mana with it.

I would call it a meme nerf but I just cant ignore that almost all the champs he lanes against are getting their items buffed in the same patch.

I mean I think it is a good start. Lucian can stack manaflow band to well because of his W and increasing the mana cost by 20 will hurt a bit. Also the damage is just a nice nerf, but is relatively meaningless. I think that once the meta changes and the marksman item adjustment occurs he will see a pretty drastic fall in strength.

This is how Riot do. They will try making weaknesses even weaker before touching what makes a champion strong. Reducing Lucian's poke makes it harder for him to create situations where he can all-in, and the increased mana cost makes it harder for him to try repeatedly to get somebody low.

I mean that is the right way to do it. If the weakness is not actually feeling like it is weak than it is the problem. Not saying the Lucians only issue is is W or that it is even an issue. Just saying that when a champions weakness isn't actually weak than you nerf that and not what is supposed to make them strong.

I mean what makes him overpowered is his E and passive, both need his W in order to be used to their full effect and giving it a 20 mana increase does limit his ability to spam it for his passive/E/mana band.
