Stop smurfing/toxicity -> Make it so you /have/ to buy champs with IP rather than RP

To be eligible for Ranked. And maybe up the number of champs you need to be able to head into Ranked. That way, people actually have to play normals for at least 70 games (buying all the 450 champs = 11 champs = 4950 IP...assuming it's around 70 a game, that means ~70 games).

Or as well, you can also make it so people have to play x amount of classic games at level 30 only. (100+?). Level 1-29 aren't justifiable as 'games played' because they're stupid easy. I haven't smurfed, but I recall playing with a low level friend (cause she was new and wanted to learn) and the games were laughable.

As well, since people would have this kind of 'training', they might be less bad/toxic/??? when they finally get to ranked. Ergo elo hell would die off, ergo less people in bronze without capacity to get out with trollish and/or afking teams.

Haven't played Ranked recently, I'm just going off what I remember.

Level 1-29 games are real games and you can still learn a lot from them. You can call them easy for some accounts but they have low enough ratings that they need to be playing at that level in order to compete.

Also, I created a smurf and once I had its record to something like 29-14 then even the pre-30 games got really brutal and it was very difficult to win even if I did really well.

Also RP already can't buy runes, so if it couldn't buy champions either it'd pretty much just be skins only, i.e. much less useful than it currently is so there wouldn't be much point in as many people buying it so they'd get less money so it's not likely going to happen.

I don't really understand what you are trying to say, most smurfs just buy the champ they plan on maining then all the 450 IP champs with IP anyways. And yes the games for level 1-29 are easy because they are new players trying to learn the game.

Limiting access to Ranked through number of games played accomplishes nothing. Most of these troublesome players never learn anything while they play the game. Consider it this way, though. How many toxic players are there that have been stuck in Bronze and Silver for at least one month? Probably loads, and what you are proposing doesn't answer the problem you think it would. Smurfs would just buy all the cheapest champions (starting with the 450 IP ones) with their extra IP from winning against newer players. Instead, newer players would just be locked off for longer.

Most smurfs would just buy a single champion with RP, then earns loads of extra IP by stomping newer players.
