The Secret LeBlanc Counter is Out of the Bag!

Pawn showed us that Morgana is the LeBlanc counter. He didn't even play it well. With low ping, you can always dark binding LeBlanc when she goes into harass you. You'll always out sustain her with the spellvamp passive/black shield so she can never trade with you. You'll always keep the lane pushed preventing LeBlanc from roaming and allowing you to roam.

After level 6, if LeBlanc ever goes in to w-q-r harass you, you either dark binding into ult and she's dead. Or you ult into dark binding and she has to blow her flash or she's dead.

So the secret is out. You can stop banning LeBlanc now.

Ahri, Zed, Brand, Lissandra, and Anivia are skill match ups. Heimer isn't at all a counter.

Annie, Cho, and Galio are definitely solid counters, but I feel Morgana is the easiest to play and the best overall.

Yeah, she's good. She'll beat LB in a 1v1 every single time. I've always found it rather easy to dodge her Q and bait her into fighting me when my jungler was around.

I love taking Diana against LB. I usually do well everytime. She's just outstanding with her burst and is quite tanky too.

I feel like he is also a skill match up. Sit behind turrets and when she comes in, you can stun her then she takes a lot of extra damage. It's harder for her to go in with his turrets plus he pushes constantly.

I've played it a few times. It's super hard to land a stun on LB when she goes into harass. It's not a line skillshot like Morg or Lux. It's more of a ground targeted AOE that requires ridiculously good timing. He does push super hard though, I can see him keeping the lane rather even.

Kinda surprised Morg was seen as a secret to counter her. She was the go to counter pick back when Leblanc had her silence. If you couldn't make her work Ahri and Annie are good picks, Annie because of instant targeted stun and AoE burst when her passive procs, and Ahri if you are good at predicting her Ws and meeting them with taunts.

Morde is the best vs Lb, she can't poke him, if she goes in, she loses more than half of her hp.

Karma's root is easier to lane than Lb's and can be teamed with lifesteal to improve trading, her shield can be good at preventing LB flash bursting her, and her low CD poke keeps LB from entering range without a high degree of risk, that said, don't know if it's a counter, but once my support Karma almost beat LB Mid, but just didn't have the damage, if she hadn't been with 3 support items, it's clear who would have won

Basically, the shield is a good tool to dodge the inevitable W burst, and then W and Q allow her to keep leblanc at low health to make it dangerous for her to go in.

Aditionally, W can be used to lock her down if she goes in. That has been my experience, it might be more of a skill match up, it's just that I've played a lot of karma so for me it's kind of difficult to tell if it's easier for me because of my experience or because of her kit.

As for Veigar, he is absolutely good against LB. His Q is surprisingly good harass, and it's hard for him to go oom if you're playing well. And the cage nerf is actually a bit of a blessing against LB, as she can't dash through his cage, she's forced to stop when she hits the edge. She's forced to flash, and since you'd probably only be in her range during a gank, you are pretty much guaranteed to burn her flash or kill her. You just have to play with veigar's range and build AP.

I've played against him a few times, not like I'm an expert of anything. But I'd just W into him when he tried to throw down his cage and burst him down while building penetration items, avoiding his ult steroid.

I know Karma can be a ridiculous lane bully, but I'd imagine all LB would have to do is wave clear with W and harass while wave clearing. Tough to say, I've never played the matchup.

Trust me, that veigar sucked. If he uses his cage it will be an offensive cast for a gank. Veigar should not ever let LB in range, farming from afar with his crazy long range Q. It sounds difficult but of you are good with him the match up is kind of a snooze fest on his end.

For reference I am an LB main and have been for twoish years now.

Orianna too. Anyone with a strong shield fares well. In Ori's case, she probably wants to take some extra points in her shield early on.

any champ with good wave clear can counter leblanc in lane. Leblanc cant wave clear and if she wants to CS under turret, needs to use mana. Morgana is good at wave clear. Just push into tower and roam
