The New Doran's Shield

This is the new Doran's Shield currently on the PBE:

Doran's Shield 400 Gold +100 Health +100% Base Health Regeneration Passive: Deal 5 bonus physical damage to minions. UNIQUE Passive: Gain 200% base health regeneration for 10 seconds upon being damaged by an enemy champion.

This is actually a huge buff. Not only did they get rid of the awful old passive that slowly became meaningless with the more Armor and Magic Resist you got since it was caluclated BEFORE your Armor and Magic Resist, but they buffed it to be more effective against poke champions and also gave it a new Passive that allows Tanks to have a lower base AD in future balance since this item makes them able to last hit without needing decent base AD. I can easily see double Doran's Shield being a solution if you are having trouble in lane as a Bruiser/Tank or Doran's Shield plus Doran's Blade. Currently, the champions in Top Lane with the Top 10 Health Regeneration are:

1. Sion 10.18 (+0.8 per level)
2. Darius 9.845 (+0.95 per level)
3. Illaoi 9.5 (+0.8 per level)
4. Nasus 9.01 (+0.9 per level)
5. Cho'Gath 8.925 (+0.85 per level)
6. Irelia 8.59 (+0.65 per level)
7. Tryndamere 8.51 (+0.9 per level)
8. / Camille 8.5 (+0.8 per level) ** and Shen** 8.5 (+0.75 per level)
9. / Nautilus and Jax 8.37 (+0.55 per level)
10. Kayle 8.26 (+0.75 per level) (Although, if you count him, Heimerdinger is actually at the top of the food chain here due to the compensation for his Passive not affecting him)
