Mute System

Riot, How did you know when I mute people in game that I want to hear them post game? It is like a dream come true hearing toxic cocky biscuits trash talking and rubbing their victories in my face. For flaming and abusive teammates I really want to hear them flame and abuse me more post game because I totally wanted to hear that in game because there wasn't a reason to why I muted them in the first place; definitely not; nope not at all...

tl:dr : the mute system should not unmute players once the game ends just to re-mute them

That's just the MUTE system, there's the BLOCK system afterwards.

They changed this so that if people accidentally mute their friends it won't remove them from the friends list.

The hell does ANY of that have to do with the conversation?

Yes it was. They changed it awhile back inorder to make it so as I said, people didn't accidentally remove friends from their lists. They changed the in-game side to a "mute" system and the after game to the block.

Went sifting through the patch notes, found it in Patch 4.11.

Muting players in-game no longer unfriends them or puts them on your Blocked list

As a result, accidental mutes no longer reset Mystery Gifting's 2-week restriction on sending Mystery Gifts to new friends

I did not know it could do that before. I had just started playing what? 6 weeks before that patch. Interestingly enough, I don't think they still have that restriction, do they?
