If Yorick's design is considered so toxic for the game that he is taken from the weekly rotation...
... why is he still enabled in ranked games?
Shouldn't ranked be the ideal competitive enviorment? I mean, I don't give a hoot what people play in normal games. You want to try AP-Lichbane-Ludens-Bard? Ok then. You want to go full AD Nami? GO FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS! You want to play grossly misdesigned champs whose very existence ruins the gameplay experience? I don't care... IF IT'S A NORMAL GAME.
But in ranked that's a completly different matter. Sure, Yorick is kept intentionally kept weak, but still experienced players have a SEVENTY PERCENT WINRATE (using numbers from champion.gg here). So there is a champ intentionally kept low but people still can abuse his design to such a degree, and that champion is still allowed to exist in ranked? Literally NOTHING about laning against Yorick is fun. NOTHING.
I could name you any given matchup and I could tell you something one could like about that. But Yorick? Lol no, I might as well quit the game and take the leave penality because that sounds more fun to me than playing against that shit.
