I kinda miss being rewarded for good ward placement and knowing that they matter. Where as now, as soon as someone gets a duskblade all your vision is gone and irrelevant.

I miss being able to use my vision advantage to counter jungle and shut a enemy jungler out for a bit (not that counterjungling really does anything now)

I miss knowing that if I ward for my laners, they won’t get fucked as hard by the enemy jungler.

I would pay upwards of 150 gold for a buyable green ward at this point. :/

problem is, as usual, professional play.

junglers in higher elo and competitive literally could not gank with the amount of wards available, whether it was from a green jg item or on release zombie wards. it made it decently hard for them to exert pressure without being seen (because high elo map awareness and all that)

Although it sucks to lose things time and time again for something 99% of the playerbase has no control over, vision oversaturation is in fact a thing.

Except with the ease of access to vision removal now, pro play wouldn’t even be an issue. One duskblade can clear 60 minutes worth of vision in a game no problem. Not to mention sweepers having a much lower cooldown and pinks being even more readily available.

I came from hots where only a very small fraction of the heroes have vision. If anything I say lol has more then enough vision. I know it's a un popular view, but it's how I see it. I am also amazed at how few look at the mini map.
