whenever a teamfight happens as Cait somehow Shens dash has the range of caits range why exactly is it that long how do i react to that impossible cc which pretty much spells suicide? (im talking shen mains not the ones who are trying him out)
Lighten1 votesYou have traps, and an E dash backwards. Position yourself correctly while your tanks try to peel for you. Once his taunt is down, you can engage almost freely if he doesn't use his W.
Shen excels in team fights, which is why his laning is sorta garbage.
kaironen1 votesI think shen's more of a dualist tank top laner. His kit excels at the beginning of the fight when they start. Once his w and e on cd, he doesn't have peal (other than ult, but u will usually ult to go to the fight compared to tp). Other tank top laners like maokai/poppy/orn/malphite/nautilus usually have better teamfights. Nautilus is weaker in teamfight but has pick potential, shen's kit is meant to split push while being more effecting than others at saving his team if they get engaged on.
xDogMeatx1 voteswhen someone says position do you mean do damage at a safe enough point where the least risk chance of damage happens. plus does this count as positioning if twitch basically goes leeroy jankins (pop up invisible) and ults enemy team to death while restoring his hp cuz of death dance 1v5 style does positioning still apply or is it because of late game and clusterfudged enemy team that caused a instant loss (using positioning example as a question of twitch)

LostFr0st1 votesIf Shen has flash you can't safely go within Cait range of him. Watch him in fights and note if he uses taunt if that's the biggest threat to you.

Mandalorian 1171 votesMan I wa sprepared to help you out with Shen top lane since he was my baby most of the season. But since you’re talking about mid to late game shen and your an adc, I’m not sure how to help you. I’ll do the best I can’t though. Try to place traps in from of you toblock his dash to get to you. Use you’re net to keep your distance. Avoid autoing him while he’s in his W circle, but any abilities like cait’s Q will damage him. Try to keep up with his spirit blade. If that blade passes through you while he calls it back with his Q, it does more damage. If he’s gunna hit you with it, at least make sure it doesn’t pass through you. And if someone on he enemy team suddenly gets a massive shield, back up. That means Shen is coming. Also once all his abilities are on cd, or he misses his dash he’s not that fast. He can get kited pretty hard. Like Darius. If he successfully engages, or you come to him, he’s a monster. If he messes up his combo or you juke him, he’s gunna have a hard time. Hope this helps.
