Riot Working on 15 Minute FF Instead of Making Games Longer is Disappointing...

The only reason people want shorter games is because games are decided so early. I know Riot wants games to be shorter but doing this encourages the downfall of late game champions even more. Games are already early enough, and just because you want quick and fast games for god knows what doesn't mean every champion will benefit off of it and everything will go perfectly. This is part of the reason why mid and jg are so important because they need to make as much pressure around the map as possible before the game transitions into who will win at the 5 minute mark. So many champions have gone downhill because of this GG@5MINUTES meta.

Even if they wanted to make games longer, it'll take a while. I think this is a good temporary solution.

No it isn't. They need to get rid of first turret bonus gold they added. Need to tone down the Baron Buff, pretty much if you get this first you win. Rid this game of Lethality. Rebalance a lot of the items.

Make the XP slower.

That just solved a lot of issues.

year 2027: 30sec remake timer, 2min unanimous surrender, 5min surrender.

Average game length. 7.5mins.

Then ESPORTS dies out like the sport it never was even though it tried to compete with actual sports. HA! Videogamers. Trying to make it a sport. What a fail!

I think a way that Riot could encourage longer games is reward more IP. I have a hard time getting 100 IP with a 50 minute game on which I won. If they can make it where IP rewards are higher, and thus people can purchase more champion quicker, I think people will be satisfied with that. Or for those players who have decided on their champion, they can use the IP to get Runes and Rune pages for all the different match-ups and play styles they so chose to play.
