So if "KD" doesn't measure your skill.
Then why does everyone bring up score as some kind of leverage to win an argument?
Then why does everyone bring up score as some kind of leverage to win an argument?
Two reasons.
1: Because they are stupid. 2: Because they know better but ONLY do it to trigger you.
Because they don't understand the game beyond those numbers, especially if they're looking for a scapegoat.
Well, the D matters. The ratio doesn't.
KDA is the first thing people notice is all. Cs, map awareness, rotations, decision making, positioning, and macro are all far more important.
Because if you're trying to win an argument with someone on your team in a match or in the post-game lobby, you've already failed at something more important.
In most early online games that weren't MMO's the only thing that mattered was your K/D/A.
League is a strategy game with K/D/A being an important element in your being able to actually implement those strategies. (If you don't have the gold and the enemy does your likelihood of achieving your strat is bad).
But just like Proxy Singed, there's always exceptions. A good strat is a good strat.
Ah, the logical fallacy. "Everyone does it, so it must be right!"
They do it because they grasp at straws to contrive some reason as to why they should be more correct than someone else, instead of using logic. They only do that because nobody else listens to anyone.

Like I've had games as a 0/1/5 jungler because I personally believe in giving the kills to my laners. So I don't need any shit like "lee you're 0/1 stfu".
