Kindred and reksai updates are good examples for the community and riot to look to

And similarly Zed for a while ago. Remember he had some targeted changes meant quite specifically to deal with his gameplay health (annoyance factor), even when he wasn't really in a statistically unhealthy spot from a win-rate perspective. This similar thing is happening again now with these mini reworks.

It doesn't seem to be recognized enough, even from riot, that champs can be very unhealthy from a gameplay perspective.

the rek'sai rework is pretty sad if u test it on pbe... the healing is practically removed as u can barely hold any fury.. (its like 1/4th of the value)

and her Q is absolutely pathetic... it supposed to be an "AOE" but it does like 15 aoe damage.... and with the removal of her aoe unburrow she lost some much aoe you're hard pressed to even clear raptors on what used to be a champ with "good aoe" i mean hell Warwick can clear raptors easier than her.. and with WAY more hp while not even starting with a pot.

and the her ultimate... its a nice chase spell... but the damage is pathetic...

You still built her full tank didn't you?

You actually have to build ad on her now...

I'd disagree with Kindred... :/ I don't appreciate them basically making her into a better champion that already exists and deserves the update more. They turned Kindred basically into a better Tristana which is ass.

Riot doesn't like admitting to mistakes too often because if they do, people will begin to lose faith in their decision making - it's that way for lots of things. I've said it several times before and I'll say it again: all of the Season 5 champions were a mistake (each for their own reasons). I think Riot learned a bit from those mistakes and it's showing a bit in the Xayah/Rakan kits. Hopefully they continue that trend.

Probably because "unhealthy from a gameplay perspective" doesn't actually mean anything. It and its synonyms are just things people make up to try to justify their own dislike for a champion/mechanic.
