It's quite factual for anyone who has been around long enough.
The match up was a nightmare for Fizz, completely denying him farm and generally making him more useless than a Kindred having been denied every single hunt at minute 30.

Except pre rework Darius didnt have sustain and he couldnt survive ganks. He also couldnt harass under tower like now. Old Darius was garbage

You can't be a monster in teamfights if you never get to scale.
The only problem would be how often Junglers can gank in the current meta of course. But that's more of external intervention than the match up in itself.
