i can't even do my job as a tank without yi shreding my hp in literally seconds alone (the last yi i faced didn't even have a lw, or bother to use bortk passive to just blow me out of the water with my armor and hp) its like i'm facing vayne, no mater how much armor and hp i have it feels outright ignored.

Actually Yi is one of the best tankmelters with that because the synergy with his E is ridiculous. Watching deathrecap you see most of his damage comes from true, then botrk, then physical, if you're a tank with decent armor. Then shyv because her E grants her %health magic on-hit synergizing with botrk. On top of botrk, it's just ridiculous against tanks. The others... not quite as much. Still because of botrk, but not to the same extent.
