Aurelion Sol, How do I make the most out of him?

I've picked up Aurelion recently, and have a few questions. What're the best places to play him, what's the best build and leveling order, how do I play against assassins as Aurelion, and what's the most efficient way to micro his stars?

taking flash+ghost as summoner spells allows you to all-in certain matchups at level 1 or 3 (his two big laning powerspikes) and force the enemy flash for just ghost after that laning consists of mostly shoving and trying to find good roams to sidelanes with your E skill order is W-Q-W-E in the 4 first levels (since your W scales with ranks in it and champion level, that's why 2 points in W at level 3 is a strong point for him) you max W, put a second point in E before maxing Q then finish maxing E

one important thing to note is that while your orbit is expanding or collapsing from toggling your W, you get the full damage for hits as if it was active, so hitting someone with a star as they close in on you and deactivating your W for a second hit as the star collapes can give some decent unsuspected burst

from my understanding -take him mid -item 3027 item 3009 item 3116 item 3157 item 3135 item 3089 -max W then Q then E -take exhaust against assassins, or all the time if you feel like it -i dont know how to explain his star microing. It's something i just kinda do instinctively.

Well, he's hard fucked by anything with gapclosers or otherwise ways to disable his stars easily. So you really can't do anything about that. Your ultimate works as peel, but it's better to use that offensively.

Start Corrupting/W and W poke harass at level 1 is probably one of the strongest level 1 harasses in the game since most champions don't level up their gapcloser at level 1 and it's easy to deny farm with it as long as you manage your mana usage.

W-Q-E, max W-Q-E. R whenever possible obviously.

You can greatly increase your damage from your passive by moving clockwise around the target. This is due to the Doppler Effect basically being applied here.

Core item is Rylai's because his stars perma apply it. RoA is also good for somewhat of survivability + stat ball in general. Boots should generally be Swifty's outside particular team matchups. Going GLP-800 instead of RoA's is something I've seen done too, and it can work well, because it still has basically RoA's main passive, but the slow + damage on the active can be really useful for both peels and escapes.

After that, it's just standard items (Rabdon's/Zhonya's if needed/Magic Pen/etc)
