Let Matches Fill Again when a Player DROPS OUT

Disconnection is a huge epidemic in this game.

One d/c can single-handedly turn a winning game into a lost one.

My idea is simple:

Create a "fill-game queue".

Players would queue to fill and you'd take that d/c'd players EXACT Champion... same items, gold, runes/masteries, same everything.

Could work where the queue pops up with the details of the Champion you'd be replacing, so if you don't feel comfortable with a certain Champion or Role, you could 'pass' and wait for a different option.

The queue could provide a tiny bonus IP incentive.

Fresh d/c's would be immune from replacement for a small period of time to give players the chance to re-enter the match.

What do you all think?

How do you supposed that the match is filled? Why should someone randomly take what ever role with what ever champion is their? Its not my runes or masteries that would be used. Its also not fair that i would be filling in a fed lane when i had nothing to do with the game before hand. Why should I lose rank cause i am being thrown into a game that is already behind.

This fill idea sounds great till you realize that trolls can easily just screw over even more players instead of just the original 4.

You seem to think that every player plays all 110 champs and in every role.

Terrible idea.

You should really read the thread instead of drawing so many false assumptions.

The queue isn't about fairness either, it's a charity queue for bonus-incentive that one opts into.

You're also assuming this would be available for ranked play rather than simply asking me.

Still a bad idea. No one would willing use it for ranked. Honestly why would players use it for normals? Odds are you are going to behind every step of the way.

No you are not seeing the flaw. Most people do not freak out when they lose normals. Ranked is where the AFK is the biggest problem. YOu lose more than time. YOu lose status, maybe a promotion series.

You fail to see that you are hitting a extreme low priority area. While afks suck in general they do not hurt that bad in normals. You lost time. Big deal your killing time anyways. In ranked you lose a lot more.

Point is: this suggestion doesn't permit filling a ranked-match.

i think its a cool idea but it would definately need to be better thought out and properly done, i have a feeling it could be easily abused or just not well liked because most the time when people dc its cuz they fed... a lot :D

Yeah, I mean it could definitely be ironed out but that's for Riot imho, no point in exasperating myself with the finer details when Riot would take the idea & implement it in their own fashion after all :).

An idea to help with the feeding is to give the entering player a sum of gold that's a net average of gold earned per allied player less previous item costs... something like that wouldn't be inappropriate.

Riot just needs to give the 4 other players loss forgiven, give all of the LP loss they would have suffered to the leaver (and his premade partner if any), fire the guy who keeps bringing up the stupid harrassment argument, and fix the tribunal so said harrassment leads to a swift ban.
