WHERE IS THE LOVE RIOT?

Attack Responsiveness/Windup (still too easy to cancel & clunky).

Harrier sometimes not applying (especially some Vault-Harrier procs).

Harrier not prioritizing efficiently, still (Large Monster > Small Monster already, please!)

Vault wigging out when an enemy champion pivots slightly (sometimes you'll land behind the enemy team with their ranged ADC).

Fafafafrani said "very soon(tm)" which was close to 1 year ago now. Even with the TM, it's well beyond 'very soon'.

Seriously, what's up? We spoke to all these issues & more feverishly when she hit the Test Realm DAY ONE, still it feels as though she's barely touched at all with regards to our critiques/opinions.

Where is the love for Quinn? I feel like her fans have been very neglected & poorly treated.

Not only that, you guys said her first post-release skin would be so awesome we'd want to Cosplay it yet (despite liking it) it's so plain, it may just as well have been her default look.

That Skin Suggestion Thread was swelling with ingenious ideas well during your guys' early internal conception stage for skin ideas for Quinn but we got Woad Scout after waiting an especially long time. How much longer will we have to wait for another Quinn Skin when there are so many Champions on the docket who deserve a Skin sooner now... I'm just bitter now, sorry if this sounds ungrateful... I do enjoy Woad Scout, it's just... I think she deserved better to begin with in my opinion in lieu of the extreme wait (I feel worse for ZAC Fans even).

I'm sure my frustration is just compounded by how it appears we were left behind or forgotten about. Right now, what's most important to me here is just being all my feelings on the table & being wholly transparent. I think it's fair & important to/for you to get my sincerest feelings rather than me hide them & act passive-aggressively. I'll probably come back later & realize I'm being too harsh with my words, but this' me in the moment & so I feel it's me being true to myself which I believe is important for conveying the real emotion caused as a result of my perceived 'mistreatment' (which, see at the bottom, I don't assume nor presume...).

Like how hundreds of us negatively critiqued Phoenix Quinn's toy-gun yet it's still the same... or how Phoenix Quinn looks more like a Valentine's Queen of Hearts Skin than an awesome Phoenix-motif (colors/contrast/hairstyle/skin-hue all need redoes in my opinion) that doesn't even account for the fact it's been nearly 1 year to-the-date now since you guys told us you'd hoped to get a TU "very soon," accompanied by the promise that you wanted to fix her visual-situation on our behalf.

Sorry if I come off disrespectful or peeved but I'm very annoyed/frustrated at how much I feel you guys have neglected the Quinn fans... I'm just bitter at this point.

It just feel like... you set Quinn up to fail from day one, virtually never having bore mind to our critiques/inputs; yet we've been vying for attention (not the kind of attention where we get a Red Response but it's not appropriately followed through) about it since PTR... and it really hurts my feelings (and I imagine many of the other Quinn Fans' too).

Sincerely, I apologize for the saltiness; I have all the love for you truly, I just feel like we've been mistreated (not assuming or presuming it to be intentional or purposeful in any way).

Quinn would be my main-main if it wasn't for them... Quinn was my main during her run on PTR & for a little post-release... but she's just broken (not gimp, like doesn't function properly).

If she functioned right or they'd pay her any notice, that would be something.

Don't know why Red / Riot isn't in this thread yet...

Though I'm not quite as bitter yet. It's been forever yes, but I'm a bit afraid what they'll do to her if they actually do look at her closely.

Recall what happened when they looked at Cass for the first time in forever...

Evelynn (so I'm told) Sejuani (was intentional) Karma (Remains one of [if not the] the biggest "slap in the face" they've done) Nidalee (They keep bouncing back-and-forth between AD and AP.) Olaf (Enough said.) Sion (Though largely considered better, was still an overhaul.) Veigar (Remains to be tested) Ahri (Technically, DFG is to blame for this one. Though the move speed boost came out of nowhere) Cassiopeia Ya................. Gragas (Again, I haven't heard too much criticism on this one.)

They have to sooner or later.

ooh! I like this game!

P: Now deals flat true damage to random nearby enemies.

Q: Now throws a Quinn that damages enemies on each side of her flight path. Blind removed.

W: Vision range greatly reduced. always active.

  • killing marked targets now grants 1 bonus gold per rank in this skill.

E: Active: dashes to the target. Passive: increases attack and movement speed.

R: Summons Quinn nearby to act as a pet for 2 minutes. Her stats are the same as yours. Passive disabled for the duration.

"We felt that Valor wasn't a strong enough ADC. This should fix that."

Riot needs to increase her auto attack range to 550 and increase her armor and MR when she ults since she is a melee champion during it then she would be fine.

I almost fUrgot rito existed. More seriously, I know they are doing their best, but I feel a lack of presence from Riot in gameplay & balance (I don't remember seeing them there) and in some subjects of report a bug section(ahem Quinn ahem) .

I don't know if you've seen, but Riot Solcrushed touched on Quinn slightly in his/her Reddit AMA today:

Q: Quinn under-performs as a marksman, what do you think about that? Also I hope that Taric isn't remade into a difficult champion like Soraka Solcrushed: Quinn was designed to be a special ops champion so we are okay with her not being a good marksman, but we think that her commando side is lacking and requires buffs.

Pretty intriguing. I'm not looking to get her buffed, particularly, but I find Solcrushed's interest in enhancing that "special ops commando" appeal rather fascinating. Perhaps it might be worth your while to touch bases with Solcrushed on this front?

Although, I'd still like to see her viability as a niche-Marksman kept intact, as she was originally pitched as a Marksman & that's what I first fell in love with about her (I use her competitively in bot-lane still & it's the absolute, most fun I have in LoL).

In fact, I'd rather her become more of a niche Marksman since that was the initial draw. I think you guys should honestly poll Quinn players in a thread about what role they'd like to see her take on, ultimately, rather than just deciding.

Regarding the TU, I really need your help on this one, like bad. Please, however that help may come...

Whether it be you speaking directly with IronStylus or Fafafafrani & having one of them come in & follow-up, idk but...

This one's a HUGE deal because of the longstanding history regarding her visuals & the struggle it's been to get some word from Riot on it. We finally got a confirmation from them that we'd be receiving a TU "very soon(tm)" nearly a year ago after having tried to even get notice at all for the ENTIRE previous year as well.

This isn't just one of those "oh, it got delayed/shoved back on the priority-list" scenarios, it's extremely important to us this promise be honored.

I & many others have fought tooth-and-nail for any sort of recognition regarding Quinn, so for that promise to be broken after so much effort, it would be crushing.

We already endured so much struggle to gain notice, so if they're to go back on their word here, it would be truly awful.

Sincerely, please, can you use your resources to get the right connection going to ensure Quinn's TU actually comes 'sooner than very soon(tm)' now? Especially since it was promised in lieu of a profound number of discussions/threads.

For gameplay, what I as a Quinn player would really like to see are two things, first and foremost:

  1. Cleaning up her auto-attack, to make it more responsive, and improve its feeling.

  2. Check the way Blind as a CC is implemented in the game. I suspect that currently, it is coded to check if the attacker is blinded only at the beginning of the auto-attack animation, and doesn't re-check when the auto hits its target. That way, a newly applied blind doesn't affect the first auto-attack, something that got me killed in a frustrating fashion on more than one occasion.

If those two things were to be cleaned up, I'd hesitate to implement further changes - think that those two aspects might be enough to bring Quinn into a decent, possibly non-overpowered spot.

Migrated over for visibility, some great additions to the topic (despite me thinking a tad more should be done, ultimately).

Please STOP asking for her to be remade. She is perfectly fine as-is (minus the bugs, which have largely been addressed).

If you can't succeed with her that is your issue, not with the champ.
