Riot Higher-Up's, Please Tell Narrative to Stop Hiding

Thread title.

Tell them they need to communicate with us.

Host an AMA or something, at the very least.

Allowing them to refrain just keeps negatively harming the community worse & worse as time goes by.

They can't. As in, they literally logistically can't.

You don't let a minor member of a department speak about the part of the game they're responsible for because only the Senior Designer aka department head can have the complete picture. However, Riot's narrative department isn't fully staffed and according to their website, they're still looking for the Senior Narrative Designer and an Archivist.

An AMA with the narrative department right now would be a bunch of angry fans piling on a group of terrified interns. I don't know about you, but that sounds like the opposite of a good time to me.

Honestly what are they gonna communicate about?

Q: Yo narrative dudes, when's stuff gonna be fixed?!

A: No ETA yet but we're working on it!

Q: Do you value our feedback and what we're actually telling you?!

_A: We do, what you guys are talking about is important to us and we're taking feedback onnboard. Keep the discussions rolling! _

Q: Why do you not talk to us?!

A: We've got our noses down to the ground working on stuff!

Q: Do you even look at the boards?!

A: Yeah we do, we're actively looking and getting feedback. Silence doesn't mean we ain't looking.

Q: Can we talk about (insert champion, region or other thing here)

A: Yeah sure, but we have to be careful of spoiling stuff.

The questions asked on this board are important questions, but ones that require actual tangible answers to actually work anymore. That's down to this sentence:

"We've heard this shit before."

Until the Narrative folks actually have their stuff together, have the tech issues fixed, the launch stories prepared and are ready to progress the lore in a meaningful way, I'm not sure there's really anything left for them to communicate with us about. The only thing would be for them to pop their heads in and say "Hey, we're still here, alive and working!" but even that wouldn't satisfy anything, and you guys know it. Communication with narrative won't sate this board at all, at least from what I can see. Only the results are important anymore.

I wanna talk with narrative, that'd be great! But I don't really know what's left to discuss. The same questions will only repeat over and over again until the cycle breaks and things actually begin moving forward. I dunno, maybe I'm just not seeing the point of it all, but to me, at this point, I don't see how getting narrative to talk on the boards is gonna help in any way.

I can get people from every other fucking department of Riot Games to post here with their opinions and views, but I can't get someone who's JOB IT IS TO DO THIS to come around here. Really?

1 ) Is Kayle and Morgana being turned into Tarpon bird women or what? Yes in know you said no but this silence hasn't made me any more reassured

2.) How is Lee Sin, Nocturne and the Voidborn being handled? With their lore so ingrained into the existance of the IoW, and with the Voidborn's only real reason for not devouring the world, gone...what city-states are gone?

3 ) Is LeBlanc still Jarvan.

Hey I'm all for positive thinking, but honestly , how long could it possibly take to write new freaking lore. Cmon guys, use your logic. Clearly the lore has failed at some point or another, and they are working on an apology similar to the magma chamber letdown. Do you ppl seriously think magma chamber was scrapped the day before they released the apology???? Cmon.......

It can be done...

The heads of the department don't want to really have meaningful discussion on what paths they can take in storytelling. They simply want to know the core aspect of a champion, and nothing more :(.
