Bot Lane Concerns

So I'm just curious about how bot lane is going to fare this season. The assassin update is cool and all, but the nerfed pink wards bother me. Also, Talon's E has virtually no cd and sounds like turret dives are going to be a real pain. Bot lane has seen some rough changes lately (notably the bot turret first blood situation) and life as an adc and support seems to be getting more dangerous with all these updates.

Sure, there are some cool items being introduced for bot laners, but will that help against new assassin mechanics and the undetectable 'invisibility' champs? It's scary already when your mid laner doesn't do well and the enemy assassin starts to roam, but now it seems like your friendly neighborhood Talon might make some guest appearances even if your mid lane is winning out.

Will I have to play Sivir and duo with a Taric or Morgana from now on? I know they're trying to make assassins less of one-hit machines, but the surprise bursty ganks still worry me.

They're also removing HP from the Aegis, Locket, and Banner. Granted, they're getting miniscule amounts of Armor and lots of MR, but those stats are worthless if you don't have HP to back it up.

P.S. I also forgot about the removal of Strength of the Ages, shooting tank supports even harder in the foot because they can't mitigate the HP loss with thr mastery.

Not completely though, Tank supports can still more than benefit from Bond of Stone or Grasp of the Undying. The 300 hp gain from SoA I thought was pretty meh and then the healing from it is easily replaced by the new support item that heals you by percentage of the damage done by your carry. So really, once we get acclimated to the changes I doubt it will be as missed as people are thinking it well be.

The new keystone, Courage of the Colossus though is going be really good on champions like Blitzcrank, Braum, Alistar, and even Thresh in my honest opinion since it grants them a shield whenever they hit someone with hard CC. ADC's I don't think will have it all that rough either because I foresee a meta where ADC's itemize similarly to the new AD Assassins due to the utility those items will provide and also because Lethality is like a scaling Armor pen which makes it better in the late game.

I'm not thinking that many champions will be coming out of this weaker so much as I'm suspecting that there'll be a pretty large meta-shift in Season 7.

I personally think that bot lane might end up being better off compared to this season due to the new assassin and support items. I imagine that we'll be entering into an Assassin-like ADC meta though where everyone builds the new duskblade for it's true damage and true sight passives as it will help keep them from getting caught out and it is also great for returning to lane. Then there's Edge of Night which can protect you from the likes of a Zed Ult and etc. It's just going to be very different and much more utility focused is all, at least that's what I'm expecting based on reading all of the changes and whatnot.

If you play talon on the PBE his burst damage is actually nothing too insane. His roaming is strong but it won't be enough to insta kill you. I personally think the assassin rework is actually an ADC buff as all assassins now lose some burst for more continuous damage which means you have more time to react, get peeled or lifesteal.
