"Yasuo Isn't Fun to Lane Against"

You know who else isn't fun to lane against? Heimerdinger Illaoi Yet no one ever spams Gameplay with "Nerf Heimer!" threads. Hentai woman gets an occasional rage post, but nothing on the levels of Yasuo.

For the record, I hate Yasuo myself. But if you're basing your argument against a champion on how "fun" they are to lane against, go play against a decent Heimer or Illaoi. I hate laning against both of them because I signed up for League of Legends, but they want me to play Dodge the Turret/Tentacle instead. Seriously, if I wanted to play a minigame for 15 minutes, I'd go play Mario Party or Poro King.

Heimerdinger specifically feels like a cheap trick, because he practically AFK farms and still punishes you for any engage. Spam laugh, toss grenade, eat a sandwich, pop Zhonya's, get a triple, flash mastery.

At least I feel like Yasuo players have to actively participate in the game.

This isn't a QQ thread, just trying to put things in perspective.

Who is actually fun to lane against?

Yeah, no one. It's never a good argument to nerf a champion for "fun's sake"

Well considerign both are less popular than Yasuo you see them less often so the tild factor dont stack

Illaoi and Heimerdinger become invalids if you drag them away from their nests of pets and minions - it takes them considerably longer to become a threat again if they need to relocate. Yasuo, conversely, is always an obnoxious threat.

If you drag yasuo away from your own nests of minions he becomes much less of a threat.

Either his knockup Q into armor peircing, high crit chance ult, or his windwall which decimates any and all projectiles.

Yeah, I just learned the other day I could get free stacks off Illaoi tentacles. Pretty nifty.

Because those champs have mana and are gated early

They can only spam so much before they go oom

Yasuo on the other hand....

Personally, I find the difference between Yasuo compared to Illaoi and Heimerdinger is popularity.

While I rarely see the latter two, Yasuo is very popular and I will regularly see him if he isn't banned.

He simply has higher odds of being picked.

Hauling Ashe1 votes

That is true, but that's nothing you or I or Riot themselves can control. Unless you ban him every game, in which case you're just ignoring an issue and not learning how to resolve it.

EndlessSorcerer1 votes

Oh, I know how to play against him and handle him. I have many times before and I will in many games to come.

However, I find him annoying enough that I'd prefer not having to.

hunterspec1 votes

yeah they don't spam "nerf heim or illaoi" cause no one plays them.

OK, how about "support" Elementalist Lux? I see it every other game. That is also "no fun" to lane against.

If his dam windwall didn't block 99% of all spells, attacks, etc he would be less of a pain the heim and squidward. There is very little risk to his kit. Just wait till your in a sea of minions with enemy champ proc three times use windwall to block any ranged and sometimes melee aa. Ulti them to get your armor shed and full shield bar. If fight is going good kill them if not use minions to e dash back to safety. Zero mana cost on this champ so rinse pop a health pot if you need it and go again till enemy laner is dead.
