I mean I understand she's not really a poison mage, but I think she's an extremely fun carry mage. I find her so much fun because she almost feels like an adc mage.
I understand it's not what you wanted, but I still like her. And if they made another poison mage, then I think everybody would be happy with Cass's changes correct?

Probably because she used to be more flexible when it came to her gameplay and builds... not so much anymore. Also pretty much all the changes were totally uncalled for and nobody even asked them in the first place, and the community/playerbase was against them since day 1 and the discussion about the changes was made public only one day before those changes went live. And RITO still kept ignoring the player feedback after that.
No wonder people are still salty.
Lord Dusteon2 votesBecause she was changed from a kinda wonky poison mage into a mana using adc. She went thematically from a slow killing temptress into "lol EEEEEEEE". Because her entire kit was changed from decent damaging DoT's with an ok E into literally everything being useless except for enabling E. Sure, her kit is now 'balanced' and competitively viable, but she's also nowhere near a poison mage and plays like a cruel mockery for the players who actually like poison.
So yes, some people like new Cass. Those people could just play Azir or an actual adc, instead of having Riot murder a unique champion for an AP adc. Riot could make a new poison mage, but that would likely piss fans of old Cass of even more; after all, they just made a unique poison mage (meaning all of the reasons given for not having Cass be DoT focused are 100% bull instead of 75%). If they did it, why couldn't they do it on the actual poison snake lady instead of ruining her theme?
LegacyDAP1 votesI agree with you. They probably shouldn't have reworked Cass, but since some players like her and others don't they should just make another poison mage champion. Or make Cass a poison mage, and then make a new champion that does what Cass does.

Near instant? It's not even close. It's like Karthus Q, but it has a shorter circumference, and if you get hit by it just back up. It's not like she's the best mid in the game right now, but she's really good when played correctly, so I can imagine if you find her annoying to play against.

she has quite a cancerous kit no real interaction and you her poison spam destroys melee mid laners. Also when she gets ahead her damage is insane.

Most Ranged carries can out damage melee champs mid. Yes that's an advantage for all ranged mids. Not just Cassiopeia.

not true really i main zed and can usually beat everyone but cho and cass, and yeah I don't think she is crazy op but her kit just feels cancerous to me much like malzahars or tryndamere

Your last point isn't true at all ton's of champions are really strong but they don't get played for whatever reason, viktor a short time ago would be one, malz, kennan, vlad, jax. And yeah if cass holds her ult for zed's ult it is hard for her to lose.

AtheosisX1 votesI don't have any feelings towards her one way or the other. I don't own or play her. But I think the fact that she was changed to feel so much like an ADC probably does not sit well with people who liked to play her before the rework.

Leu071 votesI don't like her right now because how her kit works makes her hard to balance, and she could feel either oppressive op or not rewarding at all the risk to use her since she can be a sitting duck if you miss one poison. With the lattest nerfs to her she feels more like the second case in my opinion. Also, they reworked her very poorly, they just gave her a balls of stats as a passive, come on, how lazy can they get? she has sooo much potential to be soo cool and fun. This is just my opinion though, as a cass main, I totally respect your position aswell.
