"I picked Morde and you didn't, therefore i'm going to outlevel you simply because you didn't, deal with it"

Nice design m8

But Mordekaiser actually has to kill creeps in order to get more experience out of them. The player actually has to rely on last-hitting mechanics in order to get their level advantage.

And was this really what clued you in to the fact that Morde's rework is badly designed?

implying last hitting takes skill, unless you're being sarcastic, wich i honestly hope you're being

yeah exactly that: 100% stupid gimmick that it's terribly stupid to play against since it makes you feel like you're being outleveled while you can't do much about that

  1. Morde walks up to last hit creep.
  2. You shoot Morde in the face until he has to back off.
  3. Repeat steps 1 and 2.

You really just have to zone him off the creeps. It's also a bit snowbally; Morde gets too far ahead, and he can just tank you forever. You get too far ahead, and Morde can never get CS again. You can play really aggressive against him though, since unless he has some kind of gap closer, you can just kite him forever and never get hit by him.

not gonna happen, he has too much sustain and can abuse double relic

he's broken, anti-fun, and toxic, i can't believe someone could look @ his play pattern and say, with a straight face, "outlevel your opponent simply by existing" is a good mechanic

Zilean goes and cries in a corner

To answer your earlier questions, yes that was sarcastic and there's a LOT more to his rework that makes him toxic than just the experience mechanic. Not just to play against, but to play as. Mordekaiser mains were VERY vocal about all these horrible decisions when the rework came out, but relatively few people seemed to listen then. Too much Dragon Ghost hype.

Its not funny its sad.

I remember the days before the rework when this forum was filled with "THE REWORK CAN'T HAPPEN BECAUSE MORDE WILL BE UNVIABLE FOREVER IF IT DOES".

says much about forum's ability to do game balance.

ok

let's just gloss over the fact that the only lane his winrate isn't rock bottom is the one where he gets to outlevel people just for existing in it

...at which point it's not rock bottom. So the problem is...?

purely because of one of the worst game design decisions someone could have made, and probably the biggest reason riot might not even have the chance to balance him for solo lane, because he'd be even more oppressive bot

he isn't viable, he's broken in a bad way and right now his newness to bot lane is the only thing keeping his winrate afloat

Maybe change tactics instead of scrambling to buff champions for positions they are no longer intended to fill. Guy seems perfectly workable as a duo bot.

i've done nothing but well playing him bot. he's broken.

mord was never this problematic in a solo lane.

release mord was, which was why they nerfed him into "rarely if ever actually used" status.

Granted we had DFG at the time. DFG broke a lot of champions.

Big Lincoln1 votes

DFG was removed for a reason, lol

mord is too strong bot, and i don't think he can ever be balanced with how the rework's put it tbh

JustMyBassCannon1 votes

Except the complaint was that he would not be viable in his solo lanes.

Top and Mid lanes were Mordekaiser's realm. Now? Now he has sub-40% win rate in those lanes, and a >50% win rate in bot lane.

well prolly riot idea of balance is: he is great at bot, and is beyond horrible in mid and top, so in average he is balanced
