Can We Get a Magic Pen/Grievous Wounds Item Tailored for AP Assassins?

Some ap assassins don't have any use for morello which makes it difficult to stop adcs from sustaining through their burst. Akali namely. I also don't like how most ap assassins lose matchups against ad champions for the sole purpose of them buying maw first item. Besides sorc boots, there's no good magic pen item to rush in lane. Something that gives a little ap and magic pen as a component for an item that give grievous wounds, a little more ap and magic pen would be great.

There would need to be a way to make this item less attractive for mages though because I could see the problem in champions like syndra or cassiopeia getting their hands on it. I'm not quite sure how to accomplish that but any ideas on that would be appreciated.
