I'd be more inclined to buy the Eyes if they did not have shitty stats on top of sacrificing the powerful active of Talisman or FQC. Like, if they had left the 150% mana regen untouched on the blue Eye while nerfing the mana regen on FQC, maybe I would have been inclined to get it on someone mana hungry like Sona, if I was not going for Crucible that game and wanted just one item to fix my mana. But why would I be sacrificing stats + a great active when comparing
to
+
?
They're also an odd concept in my opinion because their main appeal is slot efficiency, since it combines your mandatory income item with your mandatory Sightstone, essentially giving you an extra item slot - on the class that does not end with a full build most of the time, that is, and typically thrives on GOLD efficiency as opposed to SLOT efficiency. I feel like they're a better fit for non-supports going support and wanting more gold and room to build what they would buy normally (but even that falls flat since most of these champions are mages, and FQC is quite powerful).
has its use since the active on FotM is actually not that amazing, stats are actually decent on this one (but I don't buy it since I don't play supports who use
's line);
has completely crap stats, and you lose the frosty ghosts active that is going to be infinitely more useful than one extra slot in virtually every situation;
errr... imo it's the worst, because the ONE reason to go
over
or
is that you want the active on
... the line itself provides less than the 2 others (less gold unless you can't use the 2 others, no combat stats whatsoever, less mana regen in
and
vs
and
)so why and when in the actual fuck do I want to take my shitty
, upgrade it into a shitty
, then instead of getting the active which clearly is the main appeal of this line, getting this item?
