I just need some tips on how to deal with taliyah. I think im missing something because with her minefield, if i dash out I die, if I try to walk out she can e me because im too slow, and if i stay still she can either e me or i take damage after a few seconds. At first I thought immobile champions or those with high range like xerath or velkoz could deal with her, but they have little to no way of dodging her seismic shove or escaping her ult. Any advice?
Odd Gnome1 votesVery bursty champions or CC heavy champions are amazing against her. I found that people like Brand, Galio and Talon do very well against her. Since Talon's E isn't actually a dash but a blink it easily gets him out of the minefield. Also her shove can be predicted pretty easily since it's got a pretty long charge up before actually coming up.

Boulderox1 votesbut the thing is, many champs that wreck her are flat out mobility champs, that deny the ult, and can dodge the shove with ease, albeit a bit of damage.
Make sure you respect her burst potential, but without her E , she is significantly weaker.
Her Q is great, but if you can get enough worked ground around her, you can outtrade her in it when her W/E are down with ease.
DoT removes any chance she can get away with a cheeky ult away, as it knocks her off.
champs like 
(I main her top sooo) crap on her early game, playing champs with VERY strong early game can shut her down hard.
BEWARE when she gets 
, this is a GIANT powerspike, and can make her spike in the k/d/a just by being a slow machine.
And anything with sticking power makes her useless.
